As I wrote in review on 5/6/13, this product is the best out there. After calling customer service with my issue, I received a new clock within 8 days. We purchased this clock for our deck last summer. The functions work great and are very legible reading outside as well as from inside house. The battery housing is also very well protected and sealed in the back. It withstood any type of inclement weather in the spring, summer or fall. It hung on siding and under an eave and never moved. We took it inside during the winter. Here is where the "but" comes in. We put it back out in April and after a windy day, blew off the siding and the glass shattered and completely came off the rim. We had plenty of wind last season without a problem. I am disappointed that it came off the screw and also that the glass was not more suitable for outdoor use. I do not know if this is something covered under the one year warranty, but will call Acurite tomorrow. (Posted on 5/6/13)

I tested this clock with a new Duracell battery and it kept very good time. It has a good cover, too, over the clock mechanism, for protection when used outside.

I purchased this for the patio and though it could be a smidge bigger, all instruments are working great. the thermometer is exactly what weatherbug says; the time keeps; the barometer is exactly wha weatherbug says. we are very happy with it and it looks so much bettr in our outdoor living space than the cheesy plastic thermometer with sunflowers!! shipping was very quick as well (Posted on 5/22/12)

We use this clock outdoors, and after a simple adjustment to the humidity setting, readings seem to be spot on. Also,the price was the best we could find.
