Great Product. Accurate almost to the degree Review by Old Codger
I had bought another product of this type and the accuracy proved to be way off. I sent it back to the other company for credit and bought this unit from Wal Mart. I also bought an outdoor mercury thermometer to check the accuracy of this unit. As I said in my summary, this unit actually was accurate almost to the degree. I would recommend this model to anyone looking for an accurate indoor/outdoor wireless unit.

Great Start, Questionable Finish Review by GV Dave
+'s: Affordable, easy to read, good connection with the outside transmitter.

-'s: Part to part consistency varies. When on a table, together the indoor and outdoor sensors should report the same temp; within a degree or so. I've gone through 5 or 6 units to find one that is within a degree.

After about 3 - 4 months, the outside showed a constant number, not reflecting the actual temperature. I took the batteries out of the indoor and outdoor units to reset them several times, the outdoor temp just stopped working.

I've exchanged the unit to try again. This new unit reads 2 degrees higher than another thermometer in the same area (with in six inches). I don't have a certified reference, so can't tell which is correct; but it seems that they should agree.

Bottom line: I'm now hooked on the luxury of a digital indoor / outdoor thermometer and am looking for one where the sensors agree when in the same location, and one that will last (hopefully for years.)

Far exceeded my expectations. Review by HOTROC1
Very good quality and accurate as well. In addition to three weather stations, I have them in every room of my home including bathrooms. (Posted on 3/25/14)
Works great! Review by Ray
The one works so great that I bought a second one for the back of the house but I may have to move one farther from each other because the transmitter most be too powerful because I get the same readings. I have one in a remote dog house so that I can monitor the temp for the dogs....I thought that this was a great idea! Now, I can observe the temps in the doghouse from my bedroom and if needed I can go out and crank up the heat for our dogs. We may be the only people in Missouri that uses one in a doghouse. Please let me know if I need to move one. (Posted on 2/27/14)
not very accurate Review by noah
The accuracy of this product leaves something to be desired. I have another accurite but wit a probe and it is always within a degree of the local weather, but this one varies from 2 to 8 degrees. If it was always o ff by the same amount I could deal with it but one never knows how far off it really is. I would not recomend this product. (Posted on 12/12/13)

Excellent Thermometer for the Price Review by Cobra XYZ
This is an excellent wireless thermometer for the price. The only thing that is keeping me from giving it 5 stars is the fact that it uses both AA and AAA batteries instead of one or the other. I had to buy 2 separate packages of 4 batteries since they did not come in 2-packs. This unit could have been easily designed for one battery type since both the AA and AAA are both 1.5v each. Wonderful Review by EMTMOM2
Love this thermometer! It's wonderful to be able to just look up and see the temp outside. No more having to wait for the weather in the morning. My daughter can just look and se if she needs a jacket! (Posted on 6/11/13)
Perfect for the price Review by emm800
I had an indoor/outdooor digital thermometer of which the outdoor sensor went bad. I purchased this one to replace it and it is equally as good as the more expensive model I originally had. The Thermometer and Clock is small and takes up just a small spot on my desk. (Posted on 6/10/13)
Great Product and Price Review by Ronald
As an outdoorsy kind of guy, I always like to get out and work in the yard or garden and I burn wood as my main heat source in the winter, its absolutely great to have a good idea of what I am about to step into when I step out the door. I received this as a Christmas gift in Dec. 2010 and I have not needed to change the batteries yet, which is amazing considering the weather extremes that are present here in Georgia. Works Well Review by murphy50
This thing really does work well. The remote sensor seems more powerful than other units I've had. The signal strength icon lets me know if the batteries are getting weak. (Posted on 12/2/12)
Love this thing! Review by Chynnadoll724
I bought this after finding my baby girl drenched in sweat one too many times from her afternoon nap. Her room is always hotter than any other room in the house. So I would be totally unaware that she was baking in her room as I was comfortable downstairs or in my own bedroom. Now I always know if I need to turn the air down a couple notches. Gives this slightly high-strung mama some peace of mind :) And you totally can't beat it for the price.

perfect for crawlspace monitor Review by donnymi
i placed the outdoor unit in my crawlspace to monitor the temp to make sure my water inlet pipe and my paints and other stored objects would not freeze during the winter months. i plan to put one in my pump wellhouse to keep an eye on it as well.

Perfect! Review by GAWallyWorldGirl
We had an Acurite thermometer in the kitchen window for years, and it finally quit. The outside sensor gave in to the weather, I guess. But we wanted another one. We LOVE the large numbers on the display, and the high/low temp for the previous day is a nice-to-have. This fits perfectly on the window sill over the kitchen sink. And the price is totally reasonable.

nice for use in our travel trailer Review by Mountainman
we have a smaller travel trailer and this is the perfect fit -- we have our clock and temp outside and inside -- have used a larger model also in our home for years -- amazing how long the batteries last -- for the price -- and I have even found them for less -- what a deal -- Mountainmanbob of Lakeside, Ca (Posted on 12/16/11)
Easy to read Numbers on screen Review by M. Chrobak
The large numbers are easy to read on the display, and the high/low temp for the previous day is a nice to view. Fits perfectly on the window sill in our kitchen. The price is totally reasonable. (Posted on 9/2/11)
