I purchased this clock a few years ago also, at a local Big Box retailer, but now they no longer carry it. I loved this clock for it's quiet alarm beep to wake, and wanted one for my husband. His current alarm is so abrupt, that he jumps to awake, jarring me out of my own sleep! So my husband begged me to give him mine, but I refused.

So I went online to purchase another. We also found that many other "so called" "automatic setting" clocks, do not always set true to the change of time. We also found that the Red color of an alarm clock is the BEST, and easiest to see at night, and on the glow of the room. It's also the least disturbing to us. So again, this clock has ALL THE FEATURES we LOVE!!!

So after my search online, I found a few places who still sell it, and purchased 2 more, so we would no longer fight over who gets the best alarm clock in the house! I highly recommend this to anyone, and I hope the company keeps making them, and that the larger retailers will carry them also.

NOTE: their newer model from this one, which I found in the local retailers, is not as good, does not have the gentle beep to wake feature, and is not Red in the lighting... so we did not like it or purchase it. (Posted on 3/14/13)

I bought this clock for my first apartment back in 08'. Its 2012 now (almost 13') and I STILL have this clock!! I've moved, we had Hurricane Ike, and all kinds of things. This clock is AWESOME!! Since I never remember to set the clocks for DST, the fact that this clock does it automatically, it just makes mw love it MORE!! I would definitely recommend this device to other people (and I have!!). (Posted on 11/29/12)
