I have now bought my SECOND ACCURITE
alarm clock and everything everyone lese has said is ACCURATE!!! (: The built-in memory battery, that auto sets time and time change, is WONDERFUL. The tiny back-up button battery, which I purchased at the DOLLAR TREE Store (all is $1) means when the power blinks off my alarm is still correct.

BUT THE BEST thing is the EASE of setting the ALARM TIME!!! I must switch my hours back and fourth for my school age grandchildren every day. Just push 'alarm'
until it flashes and either + OR - and you are DONE. SO SIMPLE!!!! SO FAST!!!!

That is WHY I bought a SECOND accurite!
AND will buy a THIRD when the time comes! Great gift idea too, for Birthdays, Christmas, graduations, etc. THANKS!!! (Posted on 11/11/12)

Really impressive. Very intuitive. I'm impressed with the brightness. My only small suggestion is that I suspect most people won't read the bottom of the box before they begin to break their fingernails trying to open the package. If, by sheer chance you started with the box upside down, you would read.."Open here.'" And, then you unscrew two funny screws out and the clock falls out.
AND.. you set a couple of settings (once you figure out what DST stands for).. and plug it in.. and it works. Nice.
But.. but a little sticky label on the box ... read the bottom please.. or some such. (Posted on 10/9/12)

I was so pleased with my previous purchase that I purchased another. I made my second purchase just after daylight savings time and the frustration of resetting clocks. I am still amazed that you plug this clock in and it knows the time and it changes to and from daylight savings time automatically. All clocks and watches should be like this acurite alarm clock.

Clear display and an easy brightness control. Accurate time and no need to set the time - ever. Plug it in and forget it. Someone got it right and I love it. Been waiting a long time for a no-problems time piece in the bedroom. I don't usually have enough praise to rate most products - this one makes me feel good, and it's inexpensive. I have two and I have not a problem with either one. I love not having to set my clocks when the time changes. They also have a choice of brightness and when you set the alarm you can go forward or backwards in time. No more having to go through a whole day to get up 1/2 an hour earlier.
