I use an Acurite remote thermometer with pager when grilling. By not having to open the grill cover to check temperatures I don't lose heat or smoke and food gets done quicker and I think Tastier. When my probe broke, I was lost but a very patient sales rep stayed with me on the phone until she could identify my unit and order the appropriate replacement.
