-4? Review by Lynn

This product must have been on my retailers shelf for quite a while. I just purchased it today which is 01/16/15! My concern is that after I got the package all apart and the thermometer put up, I noticed that the package said for a temperature range of -4 to 158 degrees! Well, I live in Iowa and it gets much colder than -4 here in the winter!!!! I guess I will see how low it actually does go! Otherwise, I learned a hard lesson (Posted on 1/16/15)
I must have gotten a lemon Review by Mike

This is the most inaccurate thermometer I have ever bought. The temperature outside is 3° right now and it's still dark, the thermometer says 18°. I have it stuck outside my office window and check it several times a day and it never gets down to the correct temperature, it always reads very high. (Posted on 12/17/13)

Reason we got this is while we are camping. Great for outside and inside. For winter it saved our water hoses from freezing! (Posted on 7/17/13)

This thermometer works in the refrigerator, the main reason I got it. I got another one for outside and it seems to be accurate, too. So far, the suction cups have held so I'm happy with my purchase. (Posted on 6/10/13)
Perfect Little Product! Review by The MUSEman

Needed a thermometer to test a *new* refrigerator's suspicious freezer. This thermometer was 50 cents more than a simple refrigerator thermometer yet stores min / max, which was perfect for my needs. And, it's small, accurate, and attractive. Nice job, AcuRite!

BTW: Just like Tattletail's review, freezer set at +5F actually ranged from +9F to +38F over 24 hrs with door closed. The amazing thing was, the repairman said "this is normal", refrigerators don't hold temperatures like in the old days. =:-O (Posted on 6/1/13)

This little guy is right on the money, according to my digital thermostat. Hung it outside, right on the money. hung it in my fridge freezer, -2 degrees. In the fridge, 35 degrees. Keeps track of 24 Hr. min/max temperatures. To change start time for the 24 Hr. period, Simply pull out the battery tray at the time desired.
