I've been very pleased with this thermometer; in fact, it's a replacement for the same instrument that fell off the window and broke after a few years. The numbers can been across the room and there's an indication when a new battery is needed.

I got this for Christmas. And as soon as i got it ready it was up on my bedroom window. Already giving me the temperature. It also gives min/max records. I think that's an addition to knowing what the warmest or coldest temperatures were.

This is a great thermometer. I keep it on the outside of the front door, so I can see from indoors what temperature I'm going out into - no matter what the time of day. My only complaint is that it is not waterproof - it will not work if it gets water inside, so wherever you place it there must be shelter from rain or snow. I am quite happy with this outdoor window thermometer. I did have a bit of a problem getting the cover off to activate the battery. (Didn't have a Phillips screw driver that small.) However a trip to the local jeweler did the trick. And now we know what the temps are outside. It is easy to read and I like the high/low temp feature. (Posted on 8/2/11)

I have had this thermometer for several years and it has worked great. I don't know what people expect out of a $10 thermometer, but I'm not trying to do a chemistry experiment with it, I just need to determine how to dress when I walk out the door. It has always been accurate within a couple of degrees. When the battery died I just bought another battery at cvs and had no problem at all with unscrewing the battery compartment. USE THIS DIGITAL THERMOMETER ON OUR RV, ITS GREAT TO HAVE WHEN CAMPING AND KNOWING THE TEMPERATURE OUTSIDE INSTEAD OF GUESSING....
