Excellent Thermometer for the Price Review by Cobra XYZ

This is an excellent wireless thermometer for the price. The only thing that is keeping me from giving it 5 stars is the fact that it uses both AA and AAA batteries instead of one or the other. I had to buy 2 separate packages of 4 batteries since they did not come in 2-packs. This unit could have been easily designed for one battery type since both the AA and AAA are both 1.5v each.

Love this thermometer! It's wonderful to be able to just look up and see the temp outside. No more having to wait for the weather in the morning. My daughter can just look and se if she needs a jacket!

I had an indoor/outdooor digital thermometer of which the outdoor sensor went bad. I purchased this one to replace it and it is equally as good as the more expensive model I originally had. The Thermometer and Clock is small and takes up just a small spot on my desk.

As an outdoorsy kind of guy, I always like to get out and work in the yard or garden and I burn wood as my main heat source in the winter, its absolutely great to have a good idea of what I am about to step into when I step out the door. I received this as a Christmas gift in Dec. 2010 and I have not needed to change the batteries yet, which is amazing considering the weather extremes that are present here in Georgia.

This thing really does work well. The remote sensor seems more powerful than other units I've had. The signal strength icon lets me know if the batteries are getting weak.

I bought this after finding my baby girl drenched in sweat one too many times from her afternoon nap. Her room is always hotter than any other room in the house. So I would be totally unaware that she was baking in her room as I was comfortable downstairs or in my own bedroom. Now I always know if I need to turn the air down a couple notches. Gives this slightly high-strung mama some peace of mind :) And you totally can't beat it for the price.

i placed the outdoor unit in my crawlspace to monitor the temp to make sure my water inlet pipe and my paints and other stored objects would not freeze during the winter months. i plan to put one in my pump wellhouse to keep an eye on it as well.

We had an Acurite thermometer in the kitchen window for years, and it finally quit. The outside sensor gave in to the weather, I guess. But we wanted another one. We LOVE the large numbers on the display, and the high/low temp for the previous day is a nice-to-have. This fits perfectly on the window sill over the kitchen sink. And the price is totally reasonable.
