I have owned this station for almost a year and it has performed without a single hitch, it has actually proven to be more accurite than the local weathercasters. I highly recommend it.

For the cost... this has been a good weather parameter measuring product. I only had one issue and have one recommendation for this unit. After seven months, there was a problem with measuring dew point and humidity. One call to Chaney instruments and a replacement was on the way. The only recommendation I have has to do with the ambient air temperature. In direct sunlight, the unit measures a temperature as much as 10 degrees higher than actual. The unit needs some sort of shielding from direct sunlight on the temperature sensor. Maybe placement in the housing itself will mitigate this. Other than that, I am very satisfied with this unit and would recommend it to weather enthusiasts and observers.

This is a great unit, but cold weather and ice caused one of wind speed anemometer cups to break and fall off. Can these be replaced?

I have been using this weather station for about 1 1/2 years now and the only problem I had was the anemometer cups seize. Support suggested to lube the cups, I did and it has been working well.

My decision to purchase this unit over a all others was the update time, Acu-rite
has a 14 second update, most others are 45 second except the 400.00 dollar Davis. I saved 300.00 dollars by adding 12 more seconds wait time, worth it to me and this unit has been accurate.

Very nice device. Quality construction, reasonable price and it connected with the Acu-Link and IPhone software almost by it's self. It interfaces with my weather underground account to provide historical data, super cool. Really happy I got this gadget. Oh ya I have a temp/humidity sensor in basement to keep an eye on things down there. Love this stuff.

i bought the 5n1 unit at bass pro shop 3 weeks ago. my sensor quit working and i called product support and they shipped me a new unit on the same day for free. the unit is highly accurate and reliable. i would recommend this company and their products to anyone wanting a high quality weather station..........thank you acurite.

This unit replaced my Acrite 01025. All measurements accurate when compared to analog instruments. Enjoy ability to dowload data to my computer. Still working on connection to forecasting software. I am very satisfied with this weather station.
