Like having the device to see a lot of info quickly. Plan to buy the one that lights up at night for use. Have given several Acurite devices as gifts to others and liked by young and elderly given to.

My only complaint is the small print on the barometric readout. It's almost impossible to read because the "rising or falling" letters are so small. I'd like to see arrows like the temperature readouts have. Otherwise, I'm glad I purchased it and I would recommend it to others

Works well for us. We live where it is hot. Running our all house fan saves us cooling costs. This device allows us to turn on the fan while it is cool and then as the temperature start to rise we quickly shut off the fan and close up the house. It is fun to watch how much cooler our tile floor reads rather than table tops. We run our floor fans so they bounce off the cool tile. Works nicely.

I would have given this a 5 star for its value and easy readibility. Accuracy with the indoor/outdoor temps is right on the money. Barometric trends is very accurate but the actual barometric pressure reading is like .20 lower than my aneroid barometer which I know is accurate to a nearby NWS observatory. Forecast Icons for 12/24 hour outlook is pretty accurate. I kind of like the indecision when you see clouds, sun, and rain showing. This condition seems to appear more often then a typical sun or overcast with rain and the prevailing weather that does come seems to bring some sort of unsettled weather. Another scenario I found was it was showing sun, clouds, and snow while it was 32F in the early morning. Later that afternoon we had sun and temperatures rapidly rose to the mid 50's. Oooops :)
