I've had my 00594W for about 4 1/2 years. It's a good little unit and provides what I am looking for.... but, boy, if you don't have the manual handy, it's tough to set up if the batteries die!
I haven't really noticed the humidity sticking at 99%, but I'll start watching that now.

I was a weather guesser in the Navy, so i have worked with these things for a long time now. I did not like the way to set up the bar. presure. It has worked well for a very long time. Would buy another, and I have told freinds to buy Acu-Rite models.

I have had the unit for 3 years and the outside temp/pressure unit has not worked all the time. It has now failed and I want to know if a replacement unit is available.

Works very well so far. I'm a bit confused, however, about what the average wind speed means. Over what time period is it averaged? If I have a gust of 40mph for 30 seconds and 30 seconds of calm during its one-minute read period, will my average be 20mph?

I have two units one at work and one at home my problems have been the wind speed sensor they fill up with water so i purchased a extra sensor an if it rains or snows hard i will switch one out open it and let dry out. I just purchased two new wind sensors they now drill holes in the bottom to let the water out let see how that works. other then that they have been a good units.

Product was good, but now the humidity level is not working. It's at 0% all the time, which affects the heat index. I too would like to get a replacement sensor, but it doesn't appear that they are available anymore. The only thing that I don't like is that it "polls" the wind gusts, so it is not real time. So it won't capture a wind gust unless it is polling at that time. Other than that, I like it and use it every day.

I have had this product for about three years and have been very pleased with its performance. However, now the outdoor temperature unit is not transmitting a signal to the receiver inside the house. Everything else works well, but I cannot tell the outside temperature anymore. I don't know if a replacement outside sensor can be purchased, but I would really like to get it working again.

I have had this unit for around two years. It works or worked great. For some reason the humidity stays at 98% which will give me some very high heat index readings at times.and I lose communications with the wind speed unit from time to time. two dashes and later it will be up again and show full battery strength.
it would be great if there was a back lite display. Now I see there are units available with this feature.I also have a smaller 616 unit. and with one unit reading the back yard and one out front I do have a difference in temp readings of 3 to 4degrees even early in the mornings. all in all it is a good unit. My wife gave me both of these for gifts and I make use of them everyday. I don't know if they even offer this unit any more and see that it is now out of stock. For the price it was well worth what she paid for it . I would recommend this product.
