I previously owned a LaCrosse weather station which was a total head ache, plus difficult to set up and maintain. It took more than thirty minutes to set up. The rain gauge sucked the batteries dry and would not work unless close and in direct range of the display. A real head ache. With my new Acurite Weather Station, set up was a snap. The display immediately connected and everything worked within minutes. Give me a year and I will update how much better I like it!

I am a storm chaser, so I need precision and speed at a moments notice. I take this brilliant device and strap it to my car and off I go. This is an excellent product, it clearly displays all the data. With the built in battery its like having a tablet in your hand. Except this tablet's weather app is always spot on. Truly great product I will recommend it to all my storm chaser friends.
