- Just Right Review by Tam748

Value Bought one yesterday for my daughter, and went back to Lowes today to get one for myself. If there are features this unit does not have, they are exactly what I do not want. There is nothing to program. Buy 4 AA batteries, and go.
There is no law that says the remote sensor has to be outside. You might want it upstairs in your house.. It also makes a dandy refrigerator thermometer. You may, or may not, have to open the frige door to get a reading. This is an excellent use of the MIN/MAX feature.
Obviously I have no idea of durability, but it appears to be well made.(Posted on 5/22/13)

Value Works great. My remote sensor is located about 40 feet away. I have owned it about 2 months and no problems so far. The display is located on my desk next to the PC monitor. , no interference.

- Happy with product Review by Mark

Value This unit replaces an old (5+ yrs) Acurite wireless thermometer that died. I like the large outdoor temperature display and particularly like the min/max capability. This unit is model 00609SBDIA1 and does NOT have a magnet for mounting, only a place to hang on a screw/hook.
I used a large pill bottle upside down to protect the remote unit from the weather. I was able to hang it outside an upstairs window by running some waxed cord through the top of the bottle and securing it to the window frame inside. I suspect this may make temperature changes a bit slower to see, but hopefully will extend the life of the remote.(Posted on 9/14/12)
- Perfect and simple Review by Vic

Value This unit is outstanding for the price, simplicity and results. I previously owned a outdoor unit which adhered to the window. Of course over time it melted and provided poor results. This was perfect in price, simplicity and accuracy. Folllow instructions, which are simple and you should have no problems! Results are within 1-3 degrees of local weather stations, which of course are never really accurate anyway! Price was the best for my needs. Recommended to others in my family immediately! Great gift!

- Seems accurate Review by Jena Frank

Value Have had it for two days. Seems accurate. Easy to read from a distance. Leans on its own at the right angle plus an integrated magnet if you have metal to attach it to. I wasn't trusting my 5+ year old Oregon Scientific thermometer/humidity meter so I have this (so far) sitting next to it. The temp is the same but this shows ~4% higher relative humidity which "feels" about right. For the price, a nice item.

- Works great Review by Jon D

Value Seems to work great. The device seems to track the recent high and low humidity and temperature and then say whether the current levels are relatively high or low. It has worked flawlessly for me for a few weeks.

- Seems Reliable Review by Kathy F

Value I've been using this product in a humidor for about a month now. To test for accuracy, I put this alongside two other monitors. All three products read exactly the same humidity for 90% of the time. When they weren't exactly the same, they were within 1% of each other. I did notice slight variance between the three monitors on the temperature reading, but that was with 1-2 degrees at the most. Happy with this product!

- Works Well, is accurate Review by George

Value This monitor works very well. When calibrated against a more expensive unit, it compared within one degree. I have been using it to measure the humidity in my crawl space. The magnet on the back proved to be very handy in mounting it to a heating duct. The large numbers make it possible to read easily without needing to venture into the crawl space.
