Digital Rain Gauge with Wireless Self-Emptying Rain Collector 00614

I Purchased this rain gauge on 9-10-2010 at the Lowes in Augusta. It works as advertised. I am very happy with it. The one drawback is that some parts are wearing out. The electronics are fine. It is the little box that houses the outside batteries/electronics.that no longer holds the screws tight. Because of the weather in Maine, I bring it in in late fall and put it out again in the spring. I remove the batteries when it is not in use. Putting it outside today, I noticed that the screwed on part of the cover will not seat completely. That I don't like,
