This is a great thermometer. I keep it on the outside of the front door, so I can see from indoors what temperature I'm going out into - no matter what the time of day. My only complaint is that it is not waterproof - it will not work if it gets water inside, so wherever you place it there must be shelter from rain or snow. Otherwise, great little tool - a great value.
