In Jeff's Words: I've spent most of my career working in product development roles with various manufacturers - everything from industrial controls to home automation systems to consumer electronics and computers.  I have a tremendous passion for product development and innovation with a focus on making products easy to use and the best that they can be for the user.
 
The best part of working at Chaney Instrument Co. is that I get to develop and play with all sorts of wireless weather related products and have a lot of fun doing it. The way I see it, there is a big market for easy to use products that provide a lot of features at a reasonable price, and we, at AcuRite, are committed to fulfilling that need. Be sure to submit your ideas and comments on existing products - we love getting suggestions from our customers and it helps us to build better stuff!

~ Ryan the Weather Guy ~

In Ryan's Words: It seems I have always known of Chaney Instrument Co. and it's AcuRite products. Two of my Aunts worked for Chaney in the 70’s, gluing tube thermometers and packaging products. I used to ride my bike with all my buddies in the parking lot when I was a kid. Folks in town remember Chaney Instrument Co. as “that company that had the world’s largest thermometer out in front of the building”. John L. Chaney could often be seen working late nights, passionately trying to perfect his designs (he was a glass specialist by trade) for his customers.

I continue on that tradition by taking the time to specially design each product - carefully considering each item's ease of use and the purpose it serves for AcuRite customers. With all the things going on in peoples lives, there’s at least one daily routine we all share - we all deal with the weather!
