Good unit Review by David
Value Works great. Reasonable price for what it does. Would love to find a version that could deal with multiple remote sensors. Obvious use could be upstairs, downstairs, house front, back, even attic & crawlspace. Would be very useful to understand and improve house climate/efficiency.

Nice unit Review by Jerbear
Value Have had this unit for over a year. It give accurate temp and humidity indoors and out. I like how simplistic and modern it looks and works. No frills just the facts and it works just fine. Batteries last for a long long time.
Very nice system. I may buy another one. (Posted on 10/29/12) -
Works As Expected Review by JimH
Value Small, clear display, reasonably accurate and responsive. Could not have asked for more.
The humidity changes when humidifier comes online.
A clock would have been good specially for time stamping min and max readings.

Nice Display Review by NW shopman
Value Have had the AcuRite Indoor/Outdoor thermometer about a month now. Works well. Easy to install the outdoor sensor sending unit. It's pretty accurate. Within about a degree or two with the local airport weather station report (2 miles from my home). Humidity indicated does vary a large amount though... during the middle of the day it's within a few % of the local weather report, but in early morning always shows 98% (maximum). This could be due to the fact I have the sensor placed within a few feet of the ground and it's registering the dew point close to the surface. Overall am pleased with the unit, hoping that it maintains the accuracy and that the batteries last for approx. a year (unknown at this point).

Very Pleased Review by Greg and Bev
Value We have an older model and we have been using for over e years. Still have not changed the batteries, but used the recommended lithium batteries and everything is fine. As far as accuracy ..... it is "pretty dog gone close", Again you must take some variables into consideration....what are you comparing the temperature to and from what location. All in all I would recommend this unit to anyone. (Posted on 7/8/12)

The hygrometer is fairly accurate, if you know how to test it Review by Jesse G Kaltenberg
Value I got this weather station and it at first seemed that the hygrometer was inaccurate. This was based on comparing my reading to local weather station readings online. Most were not even close. The problem is that relative humidity is highly variable, and can change greatly depending on many factors, including the amount of grass and vegitation around your transmitter, soil moisture content, etc. The true way to test the accuracy is to determine the wet bulb temperature in your immediate vicinity. Along with the temperature, you can calculate what the relative humididty should be. After trying this, I found that accuracy of the hygrometer to be pretty much as described on the package (+-5%). Temperature is half the story Review by RosieandMe
Value I have had numerous wireless thermometers and they were all good but living in California the humidity is as important as the temperature, it tells me the fire danger in addition to comfort level. The display is excellent, it's not necessary to toggle between indoor and outdoor and the display is very large, nice. We have two. (Posted on 1/26/12)
