I'm over all very pleased with this product. The only issue I have is it doesn't have the receiving range that my inside display unit has. This has limited my options in placing the unit in my home. I have my outside sensor mounted around 150 feet from my house. It is in the wide open to get unobstructed readings.On the other hand, I really enjoy being able to link my weather station to Weather Underground. I am the first station in my area to do this. I really enjoy sharing my information with my community. I also am sharing my information with a local television station. This is very exciting for me. Had an issue with the first unit not staying connected to the Internet, but with the awesome Chaney support, sent me another one that works great. When installing, I had some issues getting it up and running but after re-reading the instructions and doing it right the second time, It worked like a breeze. Great product! Great service! The product was delivered 3 days earlier than they advised it would be delivered, I was able to install both bridges and all four sensors in about 20-30 minutes/ i was able to set up the dashboard exactly as I had hoped. I can only say thank you very much to all involved, those who explained everything and sold it to me and those who I called to clarify one thing regarding the second bridge and the dashboard. I puchased the Acu-Link Internet Bridge and the 5-in-1 sensor as separate products. Talking about easy!. I had the bridge, and 5-in-1 setup and operational in less than one hour. I'm amazed with the temperature sensor's accuracy in direct sunlight. VERY Impressive!. Have to admit I was skeptical about this feature. I am sharing my weather information with Underground Weather for two weeks now and have not had any issues. Planning on investing in another 5-in-1 sensor later in the year for backup purposes. I purchased the bridge to go with my Acu-Rite 5 in 1 weather station.
After I setup my bridge, items to monitor I then went to http://www.wunderground.com/ and became a member weather station.

Wunderground provides a variety of phone apps and computer gadgets for you and you and the community to monitor your weather station.

Wunderground also reports the rain since midnight and not just during the current rain event which I really like. You have the ability to view the weather history by date, week, month, year or custom.

I highly recommend the Acu-Link. I have 2 Acurite weather stations, one at each of properties. At the beach house, I have the Acu-Link connected to the 5in1 and the 01500. At my home I have the 3in1 and the 00634. The 3in1 is nice, but I especially like the 5in1 connected to the Acu-Link. Not only can I see all my data and tables on the MyBackYard, but also I can share it on Weather Underground.

I shopped quite a bit for weather stations. Feature for feature, I found the Acu-Rite weather stations to provide the greatest value. One of my friends got La Crosse weather station this winter from Costco. He has compared his data with the data from my 5in1, 01500 and Acu-Link. It is clear that the data published by Acu-Link from the 5in1 is more accurate than his data by LaCrosse. My friends with the La Crosse have deal with multiple sensors (wind, rain, and temperature) with multiple sets of batteries, but my 5in1 is far more convenient and easier to maintain.

The Acu-Link is especially convenient because I do not have to keep the computer running to publish the data. The data is readily available both online and locally on the 01500, although the online data is far more convenient to view. I can choose what to data to make public with the Acu-Link. I keep private data from a sensor inside the house private, and make public weather data from the outside.

I work in Mississippi but my wife lives on our sailboat (S/V Enough) in Tampa Bay. With temp/hum sensors in the cockpit, salon and Engineroom I can directly keep and eye on things aboard and infer others from the graphs. Additionally there is a dog aboard during the day and air conditioners do fail. On a sailboat an A/C failure would result in the dog perishing in summer heat. The salon sensor provides warning in this instance for my wife to return aboard from work before there is a tragedy.

For some reason the unit did not want to talk with the router, but managed to get it talking with another router and works great that way. An extra step but understandable due to some equipment makers. Once communication it works great with mt 5-in-1 sensor and a tower sensor to help keep an eye on indoor temps while away. Could even put a tower sensor in the well house to keep an eye on it remotely. Does not interfere with the monitor that came with the 5-in-1 sensor. (Posted on 1/19/13)

I purchased two of these. One for me and one for a buddy. Installation was simple and flawless. I rarely look at my display any longer. It is nice to be able to check things from anywhere. I was frustrated that I had to wait so long for it to be available, but it was worth the wait. They must have done extensive testing to bring out a product that is easy to install and utilize. After I read the instructions closely, the Acu-link works great. We just had a 4+ inch rain here within the last couple of days. I was working 30 miles from the house and it was great to watch the rain fall amount accumulate on my iPhone. I have some sort of wireless weather systems for the last 10 years. The Acu-link and along with the Professional Weather Center (01515) is by far the best setup/weather information system I have had (also the least expensive).

Very easy setup as long as people READ and follow the instructions. Works great thus far also installed the Android app and that is a cool gadget as well. Waited patiently for this remarkable bridge to be available to "add to cart" .It was on my wishlist for quite some time, it arrived today and took about 5 minutes, now I can unplug my 1025 from the usb port on my laptop and move it to a more suitable location, I would highly recommend this unit and any Acu-Rite products (Posted on 11/27/12)

Acu-right! This product is great. Set up is a breeze, plug it in and it auto updates the firmware, and locates your 5-1 or other sensors. Easy online registration too. The whole process took about 10 minutes. The user interface is very nice, lots of options and the widgets are attractive.

Pros:
- easy set up
- attractive unit and interface
- multiple sensor capable
- very good value for function

Cons:
- the blue status indication LEDs are a bit bright (this isn't for a bedroom!)

I ordered this as soon as it became available. Setup took five minutes - no problems at all! I went online and registered the MAC address, downloaded the app to my iPad, launched the app, and instantly picked up the information coming from my 01515 digital weather station.

The Internet Bridge was easy to set up as was the "Backyard Weather" PC application, just followed the instructions. I also set up Wunderground to receive and display the weather data from my station. Time will tell...
