The weather station works great. Just what I was looking for to monitor the o/s seasonal weather. After about a year the remote developed a problem. I called the company I had purchased it from and they were not much help. About a week later a customer service rep. BOB calls me and says I understand your having a problem with the remote unit. We went though some tests and to my surprise he said we will replace it. This made my day!!! What a GREAT customer service dept. and company to deal with.

If you are a professional weatherman this is not the tool for you, but if you just want to know the windspeed and the basics this a gret product. I cannot wait for a good canyon wind! I am always curius how hard it is blowing. I really enjoy my weatherstation! (Posted on 6/3/13)

This is such a good weather station.... I am really thinking about buying a couple more just so that when these get out dated i will have a couple for backup!! The whole thing is just wonderful.... the history is great... and the best feature is "what it feels like outside" which is great because it calculates the wind speed and humidity to see what it really feels like outside.... couldnt ask for better!!! This is my 2nd weather station from AcuRite.I had an older model and wanted to upgrade. Got the 00615 and has been great. Had a little problem, called customer

I have owned other digital weather stations that require a Phd degree to set up. This was so easy to set up. I did not buy the $149 unit because it had a rain gauge and a PC link. Rain gauges ALWAYS end up getting dirty and crud builds up. If you needed a ladder to mount your unit, keep that ladder handy 'cause you will always need it to maintain your rain gauge. A rain gauge was not super important to me based on my previous experience with them.

Great comparison to weather forecaster's future made up reports. The Wind speed saved loosing garden décor along with the umbrella getting launched into neighbor’s yard. Future Forecasted rain a head of weather reports. Outdoor Humidity forecast, Heat Index and Wind Chill for outside was great to know for setting interior air temperature. Barometric Pressure reading warned of tornado ahead of weather forecasters warnings. Wireless uses 7 AA batteries. Only draw back face panel does not light up, would be nice to see forecasts in the dark. Considering this one missing enhancement still, highly recommend. (Posted on 6/20/12)

Great weather sation. It needs some improvement in the memory of the calucation function and the history info. When you replace the battery in the console, the history is lost and it must take the 14 days to caculate again. Dissappointing, as the weather prediction is lost for 14 days. Had it only from Dec 25 and had to replace the batteries in the console on Jan 21. (Posted on 1/20/12)

Only had since Dec. 25th and this is Jan 21 and had to replace the batteries on the console and it must begin the self calibrating again. I bought the 00615 to replace the # 1015 that quit sending info. after a few months. I loved the 1015 but i was not going to buy a second unit at $100+. hi there best weather station ever what makes this best weather station ever simple too use easy battery replacment wich other weather stations by other companies make it soo hard and expensive it was cheaper buy a new weather station verses replacing batteries and i like your all in one sensores soo very few batteries are reqiered and the clear frame around the console makes it look like expensive but with low cost only thing could be as goid a 3d #00615 for now #00615 is a winner your all in one sensore package is great just 1 item instals in 3 minutes not 3 hours with dozen sensores (Posted on 8/25/11)
