AcuRite Partners with No Kid Hungry

With unemployment numbers skyrocketing as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, there’s an increasing number of children in the United States without a well-balanced daily meal. AcuRite wants to help. With the launch of our newest product bundle - the Direct to Wi-Fi Weather Station Bundle– we’re announcing a new donation option for our customers.

For years, the number of hungry children in the United States has been decreasing as the economy improved, and No Kid Hungry and others helped schools adopt more effective meals programs. Since several schools and summer programs have canceled or closed while our country works to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, children do not have access to the meals that they once relied on every day with these programs. Now, 1 in 4 children in the United States could face hunger this year alone. Their advocacy efforts are critical today, with so many more children facing hunger because of the coronavirus.

AcuRite will donate $5 to No Kid Hungry for every (1) Direct to Wi-Fi Weather Station Bundle (01544MCB) sold, now through August 2nd, 2020.
