How-to Guide: Add Access Device and Sensors to My AcuRite

How-to Guide: Add Access Device and Sensors to My AcuRite

Once you’ve created your My AcuRite account, in just 4 easy steps you can add your Access device to start monitoring data from your various AcuRite sensors.

From either the My AcuRite website or app, simply tap on the Settings gear to get to “Manage Devices”.

Click the button to Add Device which will walk you through the 4 steps:

1. Name the device, enter the device ID, country, and zip code.

2. Enter location information.

3. Enter elevation and time zone.

4. Select Adjusted Pressure or Station Pressure.

Now you can add sensors to that device and label them by room or problem-area you are monitoring. Like nursery, kitchen sink, or backyard weather station for example.

I can't get past the 1st page. I put in the device ID, county and postal code, and I get an error message.

We apologize that you are having trouble setting up your weather station but we would be happy to assist! First, please confirm that the product that you purchased is compatible with My AcuRite. Some Wi-Fi display units are only compatible with Weather Underground. For further assistance, please reach out to our support team via live chat or email request on the AcuRite Support website.

Display model 06086 is not compatible with My AcuRite, only Weather Underground. If you would also like to stream data to My AcuRite, you will need one of the following Direct to Wi-Fi displays in addition to your current station: https://www.acurite.com/shop-all/weather-instruments/weather-sensors-and-parts/displays/wi_fi_connection_to_my_acurite_app.html?display_type=80 If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to our support team via live chat or email request.
