Introducing AcuRite Olympus Series™ Weather Stations
We are excited to announce new branding throughout our existing line of AcuRite weather stations! Introducing The AcuRite Olympus Series™! These new names provide an easier way to shop across our different product offerings. We've now grouped our weather stations by product features, compatibility, and connectivity. You’ve requested clarity and definition of AcuRite products during the purchasing process, and we believe that this change will improve the shopping experience for you, our great customers!
Building off the naming convention of the AcuRite Atlas™ (Greek god of the sky), we’ve made the following name changes to our home weather stations:
- The 5-in-1 home weather station will now be known as the AcuRite Iris™, named after the Greek goddess of the rainbow, linking the sea to the sky
- The 3-in-1 home weather station will now be known as the AcuRite Notos™, named after the Greek god of the south wind
With clear definitions and a new way to quickly compare sensors and features, the Olympus Series naming convention now provides our customers an easier way to learn about and shop for products that will expand their weather knowledge.

Choose Your Home Weather Station
The AcuRite Iris is our bestselling weather station and measures temperature, humidity, wind speed, wind direction, and rainfall. The AcuRite Notos is a trusty weather station that measures temperature, humidity, and wind speed — three things that impact nearly all of us on a daily basis. The AcuRite Atlas professional weather station expands on the sensors in the Iris and includes UV index and light intensity measurements, as well as the optional internal lightning detection to detect strikes up to 25 miles away. Barometric pressure measurements are included in all three weather stations and visible either on the display or through the AcuRite Access™. We encourage you to explore these new pages to learn more about your weather station’s compatible features and connectivity options to the My AcuRite mobile app for easy weather monitoring from anywhere!
We'd like to point out that while these home weather stations' names are changing, the actual products themselves are not undergoing any hardware or software changes at this time. Despite their new names, they are remaining the same product and retaining the same functionality, quality, and accuracy that you've come to expect and love from AcuRite.
