I've owned this unit for over a year. I purchased it at Tractor Supply. It reads temperatures below 0F very well, and it seems accurate. I use lithium AA batteries in it, and the outdoor sensor is placed on an open porch so it's sheltered from the elements but can still read temperature accurately. I haven't had to replace batteries yet. Sometimes on cool humid days, the weather forecast says "rain" but NOAA doesn't forecast that and the radar is clear. I think this might be due to the porch location and/or it's a wooden floor with dirt underneath and also eastern exposure. I think the sensor might be reading damp air sometimes, due to where I've located it. False rain prediction doesn't happen often, so I haven't been motivated to try moving the sensor.
it is workeng good stil in lerning mod but it is grate litil station i recomand it ton all
works very good I like it and would recommend this weather station
VERY EASY TO SET UP. BOUGHT TO REPLACE A UNIT THAT WAS WORKING OFF AND ON. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS UNIT TO MY FRIENDS.
Have had this thermometer for 8 or 9 years. Works great as I have only needed to replace batteries. It is always accurate.
Got this as a gift. Very accurate and easy to set up. I was thrilled to see how quickly the signal was picked up and displayed the information! Highly recommend for everyone that wants to know what's going on outside!
got this at lowes the other day, put batteries in and works like it should. Nice job acu-rite, i 'll be sure to buy more products from this company.
I purchased two of the same so at home and at my construction office I can keep an eye on the weather. Being familiar with the same screen layout makes checking current conditions near second nature. The only downfall is that there is no record of high and low temperatures.
I have been very pleased with my new AcuRite weather forecaster. Easy to setup - just put in batteries and it's ready. Very accurate. I recommend this weather station.
Easy to use. Got it as a gift, then went and bought 2 more as gifts for my mom and grandma.
