Bought the unit in Oct 2016. It was easy to set-up and the size and functions were perfect for what we wanted. We got the 4 zones so it is great to see the temperatures in the key areas we wanted. Would have given 5 Stars based on the size, cost, function and features.
Occasionally the unit would lock up (screen freeze) and it took a power disconnect to get it back. Sometimes the unit is slow to respond to button presses when trying to change pages.
Fast forward to June 6, 2017 and now the unit is dead. It will not power on at all. It just makes a clicking sound. Guess it needs to go back under warranty.
I have a three temp/humidity sensors - on back deck (morning to noon sun), front porch (afternoon sun) and garage. I have this display unit in my man room and have the screens rotating every 20 seconds. Temperature and Humidity readings seem to be accurate within reason. Them main unit was reading high for temp, but there is a calibration adjustment (set at -5 degrees) to bring it back into range. I have also set up single monitor displays in Master Bed room and in Kitchen to monitor (indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity readings using the back deck sensor). All these Acurite products are simple and easy to use. I would recommend using lithium batteries for the outdoor sensors. They work better in extreme cold conditions.
I use this new monitor to check for water in my basement with the water sensor, and have a outdoor sensor for my pool, when it opens this spring. This gives me a centralized monitor in my kitchen to see indoor, outdoor, pool temp and water alarm on one display. Very bright display and easy to read, I even needed to turn it down.
I recently had a three-season room added to my house and have been trying to monitor the conditions in that space. I was using two Acurite devices to accomplish that task and then discovered this Multi-Sensor display. It is a really nice device - easy to read, relatively easy to navigate, provides good and accurate information.
Nice little sensor with display of the room temp/hum. Appears to be well built and transmits to my main display station from the lower level of the opposite side of the house. Would add more but my main display station can only handle four sensors. Would highly recommend.
Very impressed with the quality of the HD display and the number of informative screens that automatically scroll by. I can monitor the water temp of my lake, outside temp/hum, and inside temp/hum in several locals through out my house. The weather forecasts with clothing recommendations are entertaining. The only thing I don't like is there is noway to turn the backlight off. You can dim the display but its still pretty bright at night.
I really like the color displays of images and numbers. They are much more interesting than having just a black and white display of numbers. Weather data appears to be pretty accurate also. I am very satisfied and would definitely recommend.
