I can’t add Access to My AcuRite, error message: “Device must be registered and reporting data to claim it.”
| 1. Verify you’ve entered the Device ID correctly, as certain letters and numbers are easy to mix up.|
“0” is always a zero, and never the letter.Look carefully to differentiate “3”, “B”, and “8”. If you’re not sure, try the alternatives.Look carefully to differentiate “D” and “0”. If you’re not sure, try the other. 2. Verify you have a My AcuRite compatible sensor in range with batteries in it. Access will start to communicate with the My AcuRite servers once it has detected a compatible sensor.
3. Power cycle your Access. Remove the batteries, unplug the unit, wait 20 seconds, then power it back up. Wait up to 10 minutes, then try again to add your device to My AcuRite.
4. Wait for up to half an hour. While most devices can be added in 10 minutes or less after setup, sometimes it can take a little longer before you can register it with the system.
I added my Access to My AcuRite, but I am not able to add a particular sensor.

My Access is not transmitting to Weather Underground.
|Verify you’re using the correct Weather Underground account credentials The Station ID and Station Key or Password are provided by Weather Underground.Weather Underground advises that the Station ID should be in all capital letters, while the password is case sensitive.On My AcuRite’s device settings (Settings > Devices), slightly adjust your device’s address, such as entering a number into the second street address line, then save the settings. You can immediately change back to normal. This will trigger the system to attempt to resend your device settings, including your Weather Underground credentials, to your Access within the next 15 minutes.|
I replaced my smartHUB with Access, but my history is gone.

Access has no network (internet) connection
|Make sure the Ethernet cable is firmly connected. The cable may be defective and need to be replaced.The Ethernet port on your router may be malfunctioning. Try connecting the cable to another port.|
