  1. Works in close range review by Barbara on 4/20/2017
    Value

The unit works and provides accurate readings if you are within range of the Display or Smart Hub. My intended use was for the Lake water temperature to be routed to my Smart Hub. However, at 300 feet and not in direct line of site, it would occasionally send a reading but not stay connected. I invested in the 6053 extender thinking it would help. Nope - Extender won't work with the Smart Hub since the Smart Hub is receiving a signal from the 5 in 1 which is in range. Since the cord is only 5 feet, it is very limited for placement. A longer cord option is needed.

  2. Nice pool thermometer review by Patrick on 2/18/2017
    Value

I am planning to use this monitor for my inground pool this season, but since it is winter, I am testing the sensor inside my outdoor shed and it is working fine. This will replace my wireless floating thermometer that was intermittent.

  3. Monitor Lake Temp review by Patrick on 11/10/2016
    Value

Purchased this sensor with probe to monitor outdoor temp plus the water temperature of the lake I live on. It has done both tasks very well. Strapped to my dock out of site, I get good reception in the house. So far very impressed, looking forward to monitoring the lake temperature. Would recommend.

  4. Good news, and some not so good news? review by Masterofnone1 on 6/9/2016
    Value

The over all accuracy and timeliness of the timeliness of the sensors and the hub system is very good?
I have three sensors of this type in my system, two are located at less than the minimum distance as outlined in the specifications folder? The only impediment for one is a glass door, the second is a single wall, consisting of sheetrock & hardey siding? The signal strength for both consistently is, poor, and the status is, weak? As a result, when conditions change, one or both will drop offline?
The third sensor, which is 6 ft above ground, attached to a water line in a pump station, located at almost the maximum required distance, has yet to work, since being linked to the hub station? I am hoping some tree trimming will resolve the issue?
