Wind Direction
Wind direction is the direction air is blowing or moving in the atmosphere. AcuRite's 5-in-1 Weather Sensor features a wind vane, or weather vane, that measures wind direction.
AcuRite weather stations display this information using a 16 point wind rose (pictured on right). The largest indicator shows the current wind direction, and two smaller indicators show the last two wind directions detected.
