The 80th Anniversary AcuRite Iris outdoor sensor provides outdoor temperature, outdoor humidity, wind speed, wind direction, and rainfall measurements specific to your exact location. Requiring no assembly, the outdoor sensor is weather-resistant, easy to set up, and features dual solar panels that power an internal aspirating fan to deliver more accurate ambient temperature measurements. In addition, you’ll avoid going outside to empty the rain gauge, as the AcuRite Iris features a self-emptying rain cup.
 
Using patented self-calibrating technology, the 80th Anniversary indoor HD display provides a hyperlocal weather forecast 12 hours from your current conditions and allows you to toggle between outdoor measurements and indoor comfort readings, such as temperature and humidity. The auto-dimming display also features programmable alarms that can alert you when a specific temperature, humidity, wind speed, and rainfall measurement has met or exceeded your customized threshold. Plus, this display includes an alarm clock and storm alert feature, activating when there’s a drop in barometric pressure.
