This sensor works as expected. Have not had any problems so far.
The original sensor lasted for 5 yrs. and worked fine, wind blew it down and needed a replacement, the 1st one sent didn't work, but the customer service dept. quickly sent a replacement that works fine and they were extremely helpful
I bought three of these and come to find out that they will only work with acurite 433MHz instruments not any other 433MHz instruments. Would have been nice to have known this before purchase.
the product arrived on time and works perfectly. Thank you
I purchased Three of your Replacement Temperature Sensors 06009RMA1 and I have not been able to connect any of them to any of my 433 mhz clocks. P.S. I did not give up easily. Tried all different combinions and never once made a connection.
I have two W/0025W Sportsman's Forecasters and both sensors have apparently failed. I bought one in September 2015 and the second in November a few days ago. Both sensors were located in protected places. It takes only a little blowing rain to put the sensor out of order. I didn't follow the book's instruction to hang under " a well covered tree branch." Removing to a drying out area and new batteries made no difference. So, I need to order 2 new sensors at $20 plus. Guess I'd recommend putting the sensor in a waterproof, plastic container.
Have used model 00837 for some time and recently had problem with outside temp going to 158 degrees. If I bought the sending unit inside and put on the counter or in the freezer it worked good. So I vacuum wrapped the sending unit (like you would food to put it in the freezer) and put it back outside. It has been 5 days and it is still working fine. Don't know why but would like to hear from the company why this worked.
Suspect there may have been insects getting inside and causing a problem.
Works OK, Replaced same item that failed after 1-2 years
After a good five years or so of accurately reporting the outside temperature to my inside unit, my old remote started saying it was 158 degrees outside. Somehow I just knew this wasn't right, so I ordered a replacement outside unit. It arrived in the mail after a couple days, so I popped in a couple batteries and hung it up outside on the patio. It took many minutes for the two units to decide to communicate with one another, but they have been happily cooperating to report the correct temperature. I hope the new unit lasts another five years.
Just received the new unit, seems to be working fine. No problems with order or delivery.
My transaction went flawlessly with ease of order and excellent delivery, but like another "reviewer", this replacement sensor is reading about 10 degrees too high. The base unit seems to be OK as the inside temp records just fine.
Two of our remote temperature displays quit displaying outside temperature at the same time. This replacement device brought them back to functionality at a good price. As shipping for one was as much as the cost of the remote sensor, we decided to order a second one as a spare for any future problem. Each outside sensor weighs only a few ounces; but ordering a second one at the same time also doubles the shipping cost; so we decided to skip getting the extra until we were sure that it worked. Other than the unreasonable shipping cost for a second sensor, we are very happy with this purchase and with getting our displays working again.
So far it has worked great for the money well give a update latter
First sensor lasted a little over a year 2nd sensor read outside temp 8-10 degrees higher so didn't work right at all 3rd so far so good!!!
After 3 months, the outside sesor stopped working. Cntacted customer service, had email conversation and some back and forth, CS determined the sensor needed to be replaced. It was shipped and received in a timely manner, thanks guys, you do good work.....Karl
After contacting the company and with many e mails back and forth you sent me a replacement 606TX because the original 606TX would not send the temp. over 5 feet away and would keep loosing the temp. The new 606TX works 20 feet or so away which in my case is just fine.
Thank you for the help.
I wanted to give it 5 stars but site wouldn't let me.
