Accurate readings from the box. The 5 in 1 is level but I haven't been able to get 13 feet in the air to check the bubble on the instrument. I suspect that is the problem. I wish somebody to aid me in finishing this setup. I am unable to go up a ladder. I called support and found out that the brace that is held in place by scotch tape didn't come out with the tape. The rain gauge now works as intended. I am amazed at the accuracy of the readings.

Found I had to relocate the smartHUB with a longer cat 5 cable due to the interference with my computer/router, etc. with the supplied cable (too short). This improved the signal strength from 'poor' to 'weak'. I found this to be sufficient to work. The only reason I am giving it a 4-star rating is due to adding a longer cable (which I provided) and the false indication of signal strength which I found is good enough.
Purchased this monitor to check home while away. We monitor our 5in1 weather station remotely. Setup was as easy as plugging in entering registration numbers and pushing the start button. Good instructions that were easy to follow.
I could not believe the smartHUB was so easy to set up. Follow the simple directions and let it do it's thing. Honestly, the hardest part of getting connected was waiting for the automatic updates to be installed.
The SmartHUB works like a charm, but I did have some trouble setting it up. After hooking it up I saw that the account was already set up, but it would not work. I went through the setup procedure again giving it a different name and then it worked. I deleted the "account" that had been automatically set up. I also regerstered the sensor (a Pro 01536) on Weather Underground, but I only get "null ℉" on my PWS page. I am still awaiting WU support to get back to me on this issue.
I bought the smartHUB to replace my computer running PC-connect 24/7. I'm undecided on whether to keep it or go back to using the PC. Here's why:
I have two indoor temp/humidity sensors in addition to a 5 in 1. I can only get info from all three on My Acurite using the smartHUB.
Allows calibration corrections on the values shown in My Accurite (especially helpful for the indoor sensors).
Uses less power than a PC running 24/7.
The glowing blue lights make a great nightlight (just kidding).
The smartHub is a much poorer signal receiver than the Indoor Display that connects to PC-Connect. I routinely get signal loss from the smartHUB (about once/week so far) for a few hours from the 5 in 1 whereas I never had an issue with the Indoor Display losing the signal in about a 9 months of operation while in a similar location.
My Acurite software has lots of bugs, especially with rainfall charting, using the smartHUB. Acurite will not commit to a date to having these bugs fixed. I have had no such issues with the PC-Connect version.
The barometric calibration of both the PC-Connect and smartHUB/My Acurite software are confusing, but the smartHUB was much more so.
Time will tell, but I'm leaning towards returning the unit.
This was easy to connect and to set up. The firmware update was fast and I was up and running in almost no time. It would be nice to be able to wall mount, (limited free desk space). Nice to be able to see the weather on my iPad, and other WEB devices when away from home. I would purchase this product again.
The hub's installation directions were easy to follow and all of the steps were logical and in sequence. The hub worked right away and made it simple to create and log into myacurite.com to see my 5-in-1 station. This hub also made it very easy to share the weather by creating an account on wundergound.com and hosting the station there. Now all the neighbors in the neighborhood can see weather actually tailored for us! We have had some flooding in the area and the past so everyone here is very interested in the weather! Oh, and on wunderground.com stations that pass their quality control for 5 consecutive days gets a gold medallion. My 5-in-1 got one of them in less than two days!
Had a little trouble getting it set up and not getting readings on my account page. I think the range (about 100') through several walls was to much for it to handle. I moved it to about 50' away and it did not show any readings for the first 12 hours but then magically started working??????? and has been just fine since.
Love the data and graphs available from MyAcuRite. The hub sits next to the display but has a much weaker wireless signal from the sensor than the display and occasionally the Hub looses connection. Good easy to use product.
I followed the instructions for setup and the Smart Hub picked up the info from my 5 in one sensor. After setting up my, My Acurite account, I am able to see the info coming from my 5 in 1 sensor as well as extra weather information on my computer and my smart phone. It would be nice if I could pick up a signal from my lighting strike sensor! Otherwise this works great!
Speaking for myself this was a difficult item to setup. My router recognized it immediately, but the unit had problems connecting to the display. On top of everything the numbers for rain and such was waaaaay off! Just have patients and it will connect , but don't expect perfect or even close for results.
Love the smarthub
Here is one example of how I use a Smarthub and the MyAcurite web site to solve a problem. I have been using one of the white tower sensors ($13) inside my fridge to monitor the temp settings and alert me if the fridge is not working right. The signal is strong enough to transmit through the metal case and travel about 20 ft to the smart hub. Normally, this is good enough to check your settings, but if I tried to set a temp limit alert to catch say a compressor or condenser fan malfunction, it was problematic because sometimes opening the door a lot (grandkids), or shoving in a lot of holiday leftovers would temporarily exceed my alert limits. What really convinced me I needed a better solution was when my condenser fan motor actually did fail recently. I had been getting slightly higher than normal temps, but no clear reason. After removing the cardboard panel at the bottom in back, and watching while the compressor ran, I noticed the condenser fan was not running at all. It became clear to me that the compressor was working its butt off trying to compensate for the failed fan motor, so the data from the sensor inside the fridge was not clearly showing a component failure. What was happening was the kind of overheating in the compressor that can shave years off its life, or result in total failure if it went on long enough.
So, now I have another tower sensor mounted right next to the compressor, to get a more immediate warning, in the event of another fan motor failure. I could see from the graph on the MyAcurite web site what the normal temp range was for the air right next to the compressor. I could then pick a temp alert setting at some temperature above that, which would tip me off quickly by email and text, if that fan were to fail again.
Here is the bottom line. These fan motors used to be pretty reliable when they were just electric motors, but when I took this thing apart, it also had an electronic circuit board with IC chips, resistors, capacitors, etc. In fact, in mine one of the resistors was smoked. Apparently, putting electronic circuits where they are exposed to all the heat from the condenser coils and compressor shortens their life span; go figure….
Anyway, replacing this motor was way cheaper than the compressor, so this type of monitoring can save you a lot. By the way, I positioned a small fan to blow air over the compressor and condenser coils to keep the fridge running fine while I waited for the part to come in.
I bought the Smart Hub to link my 5 in 1 to the interwebs. It is working fine and uploading to the web, but the diagnostic lights on the sides, do not work at all. I will have no way to diagnose the problem, should a problem arise. I haven't gotten around to calling customer support yet, to see if the problem can be solved, either by flashing new software to the hub, or replacement.
It took all of three minutes to set up my new SmartHUB. Then within 10 minutes, I had My Acurite mobile set up for all three of my existing sensors (with my existing Model 06043). I was worried that my sensors might be too far away, but one by one they clicked on after being recognized by the HUB. Pretty slick.
Can't wait to get the funds together to purchase a couple of room monitors with water detection for my sump pump and one of the "daisy chain" water monitors for my water softener and furnace humidifier.
I''m disabled from a childhood bout of polio ... but even with limited mobility, I was able to set up this system within a few minutes! Wish everything in my life was as simple as this SmartHUB installation.
Well I have to say I was pretty stoked to purchase this as I had the 5 in 1 weather station previously hooked up to my computer and sending data to weatherunderground flawlessly. Unfortunately over time the requirement of an always on computer design took its toll on my old laptop and the hard drive died on it. I figured it would be a nice setup to get this smartHUB. I would no longer require leaving a machine always on and I wouldn't be tethered to the display of the 5 in 1 anymore.
Unfortunately my expectations were far from met.....
When I received the smartHUB I unboxed it and followed the directions as provided without issue. I was setup and sending data to Acurite and Weatherunderground in minutes. All of this setup is very well done and I seemed to have no issues whatsoever. I put my smartHUB near my router(centralized) in my house and moved on with life. I checked it on occasion during the first day with no issues. Always reporting my weather status great. Then when I woke up the next morning I realized that I had received several emails overnight notifying me that there was loss of signal emails stating that there had been loss of communication with the 5 in 1 station. After realizing what this ment I started doing some testing. I pulled the smartHUB over within 10ft of my weather station(only one stucco wall in between) and left it setup there for a little while. It seemed to behave well at first(although it was still reporting between weak and poor signal :-( ) After about 4hrs I received my first loss of signal notice. This was EXTREMELY disappointing considering the proximity of the smartHUB to the weather station. I tried some other tests in and out and I've found that no matter what I do I can't seem to get more than a "weak" signal to report. I also had a pretty good situation setup for about a week where I had "weak" signal reporting and had no loss of signal during this time. However the smartHUB got moved at some point and it seems to be so temperamental that even after moving it back to the original location I am still receiving only a "poor" signal. Something else to note which if you check the forums you will see is like comparing apples to oranges but I will still throw it out there. The 5 in 1 display never seems to have a problem with signal strength and never seems to "lose connection" to the 5 in 1 sensor.
Bottom line: This is exactly what you need if you want to have the ability to check your weather whenever you want. But your mileage may vary with signal strength(check the forums I am not the only one with the issues expressed above).
Love how easy it is to add on to your system and get data on places of importance that you could not get before.
the software needs fixed other that that works great
The 3 year old 5 in 1 with the one month old smartHUB produced records that are comparable to a co-located 10 year old Davis Vantage Pro. The temperature record was almost identical, the barometer record was parallel and only 0.2 mm Hg different, the rainfall record was identical. see graph. The cumulative rainfall record was difficult to plot because the acurite record accumulates during the day and then in the spread sheet the reported values will not create a correct cumulative record when added without significant manipulation.
Product works great I love it
Setup is very easy. Love how it grabs the data directly from the sensor and does not have to go through a separate display like some competitors. Love how one bridge can handle 3 separate sensors (soon to be 10).
Have only noticed 2 cons.
1 - I do occasionally lose a couple hundredths of rainfall (compared to my display upstairs), even though I have 2 bars of signal.
2 - The Acu-link web site only allows one sensor (such as 5 in 1) to be sent to Weather Underground. I would like to mix and match sensors, as National Weather Service specs say the winds should be at 33 feet and the temperature at 5 Feet. I would like to send wind and rainfall from the rooftop 5 in 1, while sending the temperature and humidity from a properly placed separate unit.
I've had two bridges for over a year now, and they have performed flawlessly. Recently I migrated both of them with the new firmware to Smart Hubs. The process worked perfectly, and when it was finished I was amazed at how good the new web site looked. It gives you tons of weather data at a glance. And it gets better, now I can have up to ten sensors on each one! Plus, the new water leak, soil temp., etc. sensors are compatible with the Smart Hub too.
All this is proof that Acurite is committed to product improvement.
I love being able to access my weather data from anywhere. However, the information from the SmartHub is not very accurate. For instance, the rain gauge does not match the information on my monitor, coming from the same weather station. Had a 3.5" rain storm one day last week, and the bridge app only showed about 2.5". There can even be differences of .01" from a small drizzle. So far, it's always lower than the monitor shows.
Also, the Android app takes too long to load.
Very easy to set up and get working. Pretty much plug and play.
Some readings do not agree with those on the base display, most noticeably the rain gauge readings. This bridge reads less than the display bridge. We had a major rain storm come through last week and over the course of the morning the base display bridge showed 5.55" of rain but this internet bridge showed 5.07". I do not understand the discrepancy as there are not calibration settings in either bridge software. They should both agree.
This works great, easy set up and broadcasting my data so I can view away from home.
Works great. With very little setup, it works right out of the box. I would recommend this to anyone looking for this type of product.
I've now had trouble on the most recent three attempts -- on weekends and/or evenings when you all are CLOSED, to try and set up the MAC address on this bridge and a prior PC-connect bridge. It's ridiculous that I can't follow your direction and have my MAC address accepted. Instead, your FAQ advises to call you support line to do a "Force register" of the MAC. Can't you get your software to do the deed? First thing they ask you is to walk over to the bridge and press the REGISTER button. Duh -- I work the same hours and you and I'm not at home during working hours!! So when can I get this stupid thing set up, if I'm never home while you are open? Most nationwide business have extended hours to cover both coasts of the US -- like 7-6 PM. Obviously this is a mom and pop shop. Jeez.
Compatibility was not clearly stated. Bridge is not compatible with Model 02064. Threw the weather station & bridge in the trash and bought another Oregon Scientific.
I recently purchased the Acurite 5 in 1 weather station 01036. Great weather station but the one big drawback was having to have it connected to my PC all the time for the weather app info and streaming to Weather Underground. Enter the internet bridge. Easy to set up, it now streams all my info so I can look at My Dash Board, live reporting on Weather Underground as well as my weather app on my smartphone. All without having to have a USB cable constantly hooked to my laptop. Flawless performance
It's not perfect, but overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase.
It's been installed four months now.
As a weather station it works well.
As a weather forecaster, it's absolutely worthless (it always says 99% chance of rain here in sunny San Diego).
- 01036 Display
- Extra temperature/humidity sensor (see note)
Note: The 5-1 and other sensors talk to the display and/or bridge. The display does NOT talk to the bridge.
The display has a barometric sensor and indoor temperature/humidity sensor.
The bridge has a barometric sensor to report pressure. It does NOT have a built temperature/humidity sensor. You will need to buy an additional (~$20) sensor if you want to remotely monitor the temperature inside your house.
- Syncing with the bridge was straightforward. Range is decent (maybe 150' through several walls to one sensor).
- Setting up Account and My Backyard Weather apps was easy (a few bugs in iOS app).
- Was able to set up Weather Underground station.
- Community support forum is very helpful. Employees monitor and chime in so you get pretty much instant or next (business) day help.
- The alarm features are neat, but have quirks that make some useless (see wind alert con below). You can send yourself a text.
- Forecast always-always says its 99% going to rain (in San Diego lol).
- Some weird quirks are not explained. For instance, most things (high/low temp) reset per day. Rain resets "per event", with the unit deciding when the rain is over. I've had days where it rained three times, but it reset in between, so I couldn't figure a total for the day.
- Phone support access is non-existent. There is a community-forum for help, which employees monitor and chime in on, so you pretty much get instant or next (business) day help.
- Some of the bridge alarms need to be thought through better and improved. For instance if you set a high wind alarm for 30MPH, every time it gusts over 30, you get a text, maybe a hundred a day. Makes it worthless. (Why couldn't it limit itself to once per hour or once per day, or let me select between the two?)
After returning to my second home in Florida to find the temperature in the high 90's because the failure of the third floor AC unit from a rusted out compressor fan caused a second floor unit to fail, and the first floor unit was frozen up I realized the need for automatic notification of humidity and temperature monitoring while away. The AcuLink Internet Bridge with Internet Monitoring now provides the exact services I need with a minimal expenditure for the equipment.
I have the bridge with the five in one station. I can check the conditions from bed when I wake up and from anywhere on my phone.
This unit worked perfect right out of the box. Easy to setup and worked great. I connected it up wired to my network and it worked great with no issues at all.
Have two installed at different locations. When it works great but I get a lot of "no signal" and then have to try a lot of things to get connected again. Only get one "bar" reception no matter how close to the sensors I get but the display in the house always has more. A better engineered approach would be to have the device get the information from the indoor display as that seems to receive the data better. Having the indoor display hooked to a computer that is always on is not an acceptable solution.
It would be really handy if the weather station could relay data to the internet bridge without the necessity for hard wire connectivity. This means that our PC and internet bridge device (which live in the study) must be schlepped to the weather station (conveniently mounted in the kitchen) in order for any data exchanges or updates to occur. Bottom line is that we are not able to remotely monitor from cell phones, and updates are snapshots rather than real time.
It's been a year since I had an out-of-the-box failure and was forced to send it in to be repaired instead of sending me a working unit. That still rates zero for customer service, but the unit has worked flawlessly for the last year. Uping my rating to reflect the product...
I purchased the AccuLink Bridge to go along with my weather station so that I can report to WeatherUnderground.com, as I do with another weather station that I own. Everything seemed to work well until I checked things out this morning. My display that also connects to my 5-in-one sensor shows that I had .19 inches of rain last night. That is consistent with my other weather station, and with other weather stations in my area (via Weatherunderground.com). The AcuLink bridge reported to both the Acu-Link app on my phone and to Weatherunderground.com that there was only .09 inches of rain last night. There is a very large inconsistency here. I was hoping for more accuracy in reporting than I am getting with the AccuLink Bridge.
I have had this up and running for about two weeks to monitor temperature in my home up north specifically during winter when we are away. Easy to set up. My issue is that I very frequently have to manually refresh my iPhone app to update. So my concern is how a delay in refreshing would effect an alert. The purpose for my purchase is to get a quick alert iwith furnace failure so I could take action to avoid frozen pipes - I have the bridge on the main floor of my home elevated on a shelf about 6 ft and two temp sensors - in a master upstairs bedroom - almost directly above the bridge, and another sensor on the main floor in a rear bedroom - less then 150 ft.
This was a great add, to share with family and friends.
We can see what the weather at our property, and not from 10-15 miles away!
I installed a bridge at my home a month ago and have been very pleased with its performance. I have purchased a second bridge that I will install at a house I have on the Gulf that will give me the ability to monitor both locations no matter where I am. I have 5in one sensors and temperature/humidity sensors at bothe locations which is important for monitoring in Texas.
I would give this item 5 stars, but connectivity is an issue. I had my 5in 1 right next to unit and only managed 3 bars. Only have 1 bar now. The 5 in 1 sensor is 180 feet from the bridge. The unit is working properly and sending data. It is nice to open app on the phone and check weather since I do work quite some distance from home. And being able to log into weather underground is an awesome tool.
The internet bridge was easy to setup and I was sending weather data to Wunderground within 5 minutes! Very nice to not have to have a pc running all the time!
I bought this bridge as part of the Weather Environment System with Wind and Rain kit. I wanted the ability to check my home weather without requiring an always-on computer near my display. This fit the need perfectly.
My sensor is in my back yard, mounted to my privacy fence. My bridge was in my mechanical room (front side of the house) with all of my internet and cable TV equipment. I was initially unable to get a connection at all. I then moved it from the ideal location to a more bothersome one, in order to troubleshoot. Now I get a connection, intermittently. I don't have a better place to put this bridge that isn't highly intrusive. This bothers me. If I had another 25 feet of solid connectivity, then I would be 5-star happy. Otherwise, this is a great product and does exactly what I want it to do. I currently only have my 5-in-1 connected to it. I will be adding my two other 2-in-1s to it soon.
I have used another product's bridge to the Internet. It required my computer to be on 24/7. What makes this product so fantastic is that it is connected directly to the Internet through my modem that is on 24/7 and does not interface directly through my computer. It automatically receives data from my 5-in-1 and two towers and transmits it to weather reporting stations for amateurs. It was easy to set up by following the enclosed directions.
As an I.T. tech, I can easily say this is the EASIEST Internet gateway to setup! IT JUST WORKS, is probably the best way to describe the installation. The only warning is installation location. DO NOT install in a room where you would be disturbed by those REALLY BRIGHT BLUE FLASHING LEDS. They will light up a wall like a flashing neon sign‼️ Other than that, it is a superb gateway.
works well, easy to set up, and great value.
The AcuLink Internet Bridge with Remote Monitoring came to the house in a timely fashion. It works great and was easy to set up. The only bad thing is, one pin on the flip up antenna was broken when I opened the package. I could hear it rattling inside the devise. I sent in a picture of it. I think someone is helping me with the issue. It still works with one pin holding up the antenna.
I been using the bridge for about 3 weeks. I've had no problems connecting to my sensors and it was easy to set up. I was surprised to discover it had a built-in barometer. That was not clear to me from the sales literature.
Everything seems to be going well with my bridge. It was easy to hook up and the rest is history!
This works well but has to be very close to the sensor to work . We have siding on the house and it has to be within40' to get two bars on the software. Other than that set up is easy and works very well!
This is my second bridge, as I now 2 wx stations up and running. This bridge was very easy to set up. It provides a very easy way to see the wx in the local area. My first bridge has been up any running for close to 2yrs with no problems.
I'm using the bridge with the five in one station. I love them both! No problems at all! I agree the bridge connection lights are much brighter than necessary but it's not really a problem.
I had received a new 5-in-1 weather station for Christmas to replace another older one that had quit working. This was my first AcuRite product. I set it up and used it for a couple of weeks to make sure I liked it and it was working and it was great. But I also wanted to be able to keep historical information and be able for myself (and others) to check on the weather here too. Since the PC-Link stuff required you to have an always-on computer it really wasn't going to suit my needs. This internet bridge sounded like it was going to be the right solution. And it was. It arrived quickly, had very straightforward instructions and I had it up and running in about 10-15 minutes. Now I can check my weather remotely either on my phone or desktop as can friends or family. I have it reporting both to the AcuLink site and to Weather Underground (which keep historical data too). I've had it running for about 3 weeks now with no hiccups whatsoever. I'm very satisfied with this product - I just hope everything lasts a long time.
I'm not easy to please, but I gotta admit the Acu-Rite Internet Bridge is close to awesome. I love the fact that it also links me (via weather underground) to data from other weather-watchers in the region; that web site also shows 24-hour graphs for temp, wind, rain. But, I agree with some other reviewers who complain about the intensity of the flashing blue lights (my cats keep thinking the cops are outside!). And I agree with those who wrote about easy set-up, etc. Well worth the price.
Purchased online, installed and start using without a glitch for my 5-in-1 weather center. I'll get a better test of range when I move the 5-in-1 back outside after the harsh Western NY subsides a bit. As a product development engineer, I continue to be impressed with Acu-Rite (products, documentation, online support ...they're the real deal). Thank you Acu-Rite!
Unit was easy to set up and functions well. One improvement would be less intensity in the flashing blue lights. My modem are located in master bedroom and the two flashing lights maket the room look like an arcade at night. Had to cover them with black tape to get some sleep.
This is a great feature to have the abilty to see my station on Uweather. I really like the My Link page also. The unit works great.
Went through and followed the simple instructions for setup and it went perfectly. The online portion was a snap and a short while later my data was getting to Weather Underground.
Tried using the USB link from the display unit and the Acurite freeware to upload to Weather Undergound but it was not reliable. The Internet Bridge is great, set it up and forget about it.
The internet bridge was easy to set up and I was able to download the free app. without any issues. I had to move the internet bridge several times to insure I had a good line of sight to my sensor. The sensor is located in my greenhouse about 200 feet from the internet bridge and I was having trouble maintaining a signal. I used a long Ethernet cable and an extension cord and was able to find a good location for a strong signal. The dashboard on my computer and the app on my phone both work well. I generally check the app several times a day. I would recommend this product and plan to buy the complete weather station and an additional sensor in the future.
Very easy connect and install, mostly flawless function. Only issue I had was the server being down for a few hours, the app software read the problem as no connection to the Internet.
Been working fine otherwise.

Benn working fine otherwise.
I plugged mine into my network, and it was ready to go in less than 5 minutes! Online setup was a breeze too, it took longer to register and setup the station online than it did to bring the system up!
This internet bridge was very easy to set up. It functions all the time with no problems. Therefore a five-star rating. However, Acurite should receive a 0-star rating for not including this with the 5-in-1 weather station. How many people leave their computer on 24/7 without sleep mode? Right; none; so this internet bridge is a necessary devise if I want to see my weather station on my smartphone as Acurite shows in ads.
Works as decribed. Can only handle 3 temperature monitors at a time but you can easily disconnect one and connect a 4th or 5th etc. IPad app needs work - gave it 2 stars. Suppose to be able to be email or text phone if power goes out but the feature did not work. But once power comes back on it will start retransmitting temperatures. Also besides showing temperatures of attached monitors it also showed temperature of accrite HQ in wisconsin which cannot be changed to another location. Very odd. But the Hq temperatures can be deleted.
Was easy to setup but dashboard was a little confusing at first. My primary interest was uploading current weather data to Weather Underground but found out it only updates WU every 12 minutes with no way to decrease the upload interval. Helpdesk confirmed that there was no widget to modify the upload intervals. Other than that, product works as advertised.
I ordered the 5 in 1 Weather Station thinking it had the capabilities already to link with the computer and on-line, but it didn't. So I ordered this and works like a charm. Very easy to set up, the instruction on the software for the phone was a little tricky but I figured it out. You will love the product if you are a weather buff. I shared the link to all my family and friends, and I was the only one in my area that was sharing with wunderground.
Received the Bridge in a timely manner setup was a breeze. We did not have local weather info here and it helped fill the gap for others. Glad I ordered it.
Set-up was simple, software download was seamless, everything works as it should. I would love a few choices of display, and will explore some smaller gui options
A bit costly I think
I've been running the ridge for about a week.
When I first got the bridge I opened and skimmed the instructions and was a little overwhelmed.
I sat down, gathered my wits and carefully proceeded to go through the instructions step by step. No problem! Everything went well and worked the first time. I got my weather system up and reporting on the cloud. This worked so well I decided to tempt fate. I continued on and was also successful in getting my weather system reporting on Weather Underground.
I am well pleased with the AcuLink Internet Bridge.
The internet bridge works great. The company gives great tech support if needed and stands behind their products. I recommend this product.
I bought this to monitor temperatures in my cabin and pump house remotely during cold weather months to make sure the system I have for keeping the pipes from freezing is still working. It was easy to set up the bridge and as soon as I put batteries in the towers I was getting readings on the My Backyard web page. Humidity, barometric pressure, and charting functions are a bonus over my original intentions for this system. It took a little while to figure out how to set up the web page, but that was because I hadn't turned on the towers yet. Once they were on, it pretty much set itself up. This is the only remote weather station of its kind that I could find that didn't cost an arm and a leg, and it's everything I had hoped for and more. Well done!
Set up was a breeze. May be confusing if you are not too tech savy. I was confused on the proper web address. Quick call to tech support was smooth. Overall I think future upgrade to the WX Station Pro should have the bridge built in. It is the Pro isn't it?
I put sensors in my extra refrigerator and freezer in the garage and now I can get alerts if either one goes out of temperature range and I can view a whole month's temperature history to see how they are running. You can download the data and see temperature readings every 12 minutes.
You'll have to make sure your bridge is close enough to fridge/freezer to get a signal. Worst case you can locate the Acu-Link bridge near them and connect it to your home network with a WiFi bridge.
You'll also need lithium AA batteries for the sensor in freezer since alkalines don't work at sub-zero.
Acu-Rite does make a dedicated thermometer system for fridge/freezer which is nice and I use it in my kitchen, but it won't allow you to remotely monitor via internet, collect historical data, and get automatic alerts which is what I need for the garage since I access those less frequently and would not notice a problem in time, but with alerts I can get text message as soon as the fridge or freezer is too warm.
Good product especially because it continues to transmit data to smart devices and WeatherUnderground 24/7; once it was setup it's been great; however, setup was sluggish and required several efforts.
Overall, I'd recommend it to friends.
At the time of this review the Acu-Link servers are down for maintenance with no warning so I am not as enthusiastic about this product as I was yesterday but, such is tech. The Wifi Bridge is a really nice component though. Since the router is always on, the station is always reporting without the PC or laptop having to be on. Other than the service interruption I can't complain.
The Bridge sets up in minutes, is easy to physically install, and is easy to integrate into your home weather station. It took me about 10 minutes to mount and then setup in the "My Backyard" weather center. Great product!
Great productn super easy to set up amd and worked right away. 5 in one is on garage roof and bridge is in basement, and I still have three bars of signal. Awesome product, if you have an acurite you need this product.
The Bridge works extremely well AFTER calling and having it set by Acu-Rite. Just a bit frustrating for it not to work "out of the box" ... BUT, all is WELL!
Be aware that you might have to "pair" the 5-in-One (or other sensors) with the Bridge - and that may include moving them within a foot or so of each other. If you have already mounted your 5-in-One (like I did on the roof), that will create some additional work.
Worked right out of the box. Didn't take long to setup.
We received the bridge in less than a week with Smart Post. Started setting up but could not get it to register. Checked our end of the connection and the bridge was connected to the internet, so we contacted support. A little slow on response, but they got there end set and after completing the registration form one last time, it was up and running.
working great on iPad and iPhone.
Internet bridge works great. It lets me put my weather station on weather underground.
I love my product and works great. My only concerns are the set up and didn't get much tech support however I was able to get working properly and works like a champ. Do not get smart post on shipping because it's slow as a slug. Took 12 days to recieve
Good instructions and having everything you need in the box made for a very quick and hassle free installation. I works great and I enjoyed setting up Acurite's Dashboard and then getting the station on Weather Underground.
Great piece, easy to set up, frees up your computer for other things
I plugged this in my router and did not need to read the instructions except to register the MAC number. To my surprise my 2 sensors came up right away. I have the 3 in one and the 5 in one. It showed up on my PC, Android, IPAD, IPHONE, Itouch. I never had anything that was this easy to set up and worked right off the bat. These folks have it together for sure. I own the Davis weather station which I don't use because I find the Acurite is much better and can monitor on internet. I had my sensors for at least 2-3 years and it has not failed once. Maybe I will order the color version of the console. Don't let the cheap price fool you. Battery also lasts a long time in the sensors.
They should tell you that this needs to be plugged directly into the router and not into a network switch. After figuring that out it works well. Bought a 2nd one for vacation condo in Florida.
I am very happy with this item. I did not realize that you could buy the technology this cheap! The bridge works great, easy set up, I will recommend this to others.
Easy setup. At this point I have no issues with the 5-1 and bridge.
Nice to have better access to local weather right here in my backyard.
I just love this thing. I always had the table top receiver but adding the online capability makes the whole system super cool.
I have three of these now, bought one for an existing station, one came with a station, and one was sent to replace what we thought was a defective one.
They are easy to hookup to your router with the provided instructions and are ready to go after the unit updates itself.
They allow you to get data on your computer using the My Backyard Weather web page. Of the three I own I have yet to get any of them to give a correct barometric pressure using the AcuRite setting no matter how long or how many times I go through the learning period. They usually read .15 to .20 too low. I use the online adjustment under, settings, to correct it and then they work great.
The My Backyard Weather site automatically updates every 5 minutes but you can refresh the screen for quicker updates, since the internet bridge updates some items every 18 seconds. You can sign up to send data to the weatherunderground.com web site every 15 minutes without having to leave a computer on 24/7. A 5 minute interval would be nice but that's not an option. There are places online like Meteobridge that use third party routers to allow the update interval to be as low every 2 seconds (fastest would be 18 seconds with AcuLink Bridge). Haven't tried that yet though.
Using the AcuLink Bridge and the My Backyard Weather site you can even have it you send an email if the power goes out to your bridge.
The unit works great once you get your barometric pressure set and from my experience, customer service has always been great. If your station allows it and you want online capabilities without a dedicated computer running this is the way to go
Arrived as promised. Had no problems hooking it up. I bought it for senior apartment complex. They can all view it on their I-pad or computer.
I am very happy with this purchase did not take long at all to set up I work all most an hour away from home and the weather can be quite different It is nice to be able to check in with my back yard weather station.
I love the software and features. Tech support is second to none. You talk to a "REAL PERSON" when you call their support team that got me up in running in less than 5 minuets!
Dang .. there is a company that does what they say!!
I originally was looking to replace my 5n1 sensor due to mine locking up and no longer recording temps correctly. I said to myself it would be cool to see my weather stats remotely and "poof" there it was the bridge. I ordered a whole new system since the cost was about $80 cheaper than buying pieces. I have to say, I love this gadget. It was easy to set up and the interface is easy on the eyes. Good job acu-rite. I do agree with some of the sugested improvements, like wifi compatability etc...
Bottom line...i would highly recommend this product to any weather nerd!!
Look No Further !!!!!
This Product, Linked To My AcuRite Pro WX Station 5 In 1.
Current Home WX Info, As Well As Broadcasting Current WX Info
To WeatherUndergounds, Wundermap.
A Ham Radio Operator's Must, In The Radio Shack !!!!!
This works great and I love it very easy to setup the first time only kind of hard to re-setup. It has no factory reset button so you need play around with it to forget your network and reset the MAC address. Last thing is in this day of age I don't understand why it is not able to hook up by WiFi I wish it was.
We bought the Acu-link Bridge because it can connect using a standard blue CAT5-e network cable to our home intranet Lan router.
The provided cable is a gray Cat 5E "patch cable" worked fine but was too short. Needed to relocate the Bridge 10' feet from the router for better reception. The "patch cable " is a special cable for uplinking connecting network hubs to modem/routers or hub to hub. One or more wires are reversed (like pin 1 on one end to pinout 5 on the other end for loop back test. Where as a common Lan network wire are wire pinned out the same on both connector ends. Pin 1 "in" is pin 1 on the out end.
We called Acu-rite and verified that standard CAT5 e cables would work fine.. and they do.
Only wish the Bridge used 802.11 gigabit 1000baseT speed. Maybe the next version will be wireless - N.
Our new (replacement) Acu-rite pool temperature float that has a screw off weighted bottom (significant design improvement) works great as a 2nd sensor. So we have the 01010W and the pool float sensor. This means that I can now read our back yard weather on our Samsung GS4 Android smart phones (wife and mine), as well as on our desktops and netbook. Gotta know if the pool temperature is just right for swimming.
Is the Bridge working great ? Yes as designed.
On your website you might consider showing the pool temperature float as a working device on the Acu-rite Bridge page.
Updates take to long when linked to underground weather. Bridge does not compare to other weather bridges that update every few seconds. Acurite needs to support rapid fire if they what to stay competitive. Bridge has awesome software though.
Works as advertised waiting to see if in a few days it will give 4hr, 4-8hr forecast.
I love this feature but am disappointed that the bridge is not included with all 5 in 1 units, this way it would be cheaper for the consumer. Being in Canada we have no access to the bridge without paying exhorbitant shipping fees. If I had known this is the only way to get the unit to transfer data to my computer I likely would not have bought the 5 in 1 and would have relied on tv to get my information.
Took very little time to set up and it was sending data within 15 minutes.
Plugged it in and had it working in ten minutes!
Very easy to set up!
I purchased the Internet bridge separately and initially it was stuck on 29.92 mb so the forecast portion did not work. I called the great customer service team and they shipped a warrantly replacement bridge within a week and now all is good.
first of all I am very, very satisfied with my unit. easy to set-up and use. right now
it is -15 below zero and wind chill at -35. oh well, it is somewhat disturbing to
know these facts but I would rather be informed than not. plus, it is very accurate.
I live in northwest Wisconsin and this winter has been pretty awful.
the reason I am on my second unit is simple, the first one did not work from the
get go. they sent me another one and it is just fine.
the only con I have is the time between units. time elapsed before I received it.
It happened to be around the holidays, so I can understand the situation. have
a good day.
I had this connected and sending data from my 5in1 sensor in less than 15 mins. All the available data from the sensor can be viewed remotely, of course, and the value of that convenience makes this a must have for those interested. What a great piece of tech.
Though the MAC address on the Internet Bridge wasn't initially being accepted the Customer Service Staff took care of this little hiccup for me. The downloads were fast and I am now receiving remote data via my Samsung Galaxy 3 with NO problems. I will start sharing the data with Wunderground.com very soon !
I am very SATISFIED with ALL of the ACURITE / ACULINK products that I now have: The Projection Alarm Clock (13020CCDI) with a remote wireless weather sensor, the 5 in 1 weather station with console ( 01036CCDI), and now the Internet Bridge unit (09150TRX).
I look forward to adding more of these quality products in my home.
Easiest thing I've had to "set up"
Though I do think the instructions for turning off the lights should be made clear in the set up. I discovered that part by seeing another video review.
Great bridge, my only complaint is the weather stations do not support rapid fire. Aucrite, please start supporting Rapid Fire!!!!!!!!
On 1/2/14, after some mental deliberation, I opted not to get the Christmas special model that included the Intenet Bridge, and instead opted for the 01035 unit that had the 5-in-1 station and what I considered to be a much better display (because more information was displayed without having to push buttons and search for other readings).
On 1/8/14 I ordered the Internet Bridge. It arrived a day earlier than expected, and it took all of 20 minutes to get set up. I had the firmware upgraded and My Backyard Weather up and running without any problems at all. I even had my unit set up to push data to Weather Underground iAttuat same 20 minute period. Weather Underground started publishing my site the next day. I am VERY pleased with this addition. The only thing I would suggest is that in the future would be that the bridge be a wireless addition. I had to plug another switch into my router because all my Ethernet ports were in use. And I guess I'd like to see the date and time automatically set by one of the atomic clock broadcasts that set other devices to the precise time.
Now I want to make a follow up comment on the review I did for the 01035 Weather Station that I purchased. Like I said, everything about it is fantastic, with the only exception being the Weather Ticker scrolling display on the main unit. It is nearly impossible to read unless you are at the exact viewing angle. There have been other complaints about this issue and I mentioned in my review that I would be contacting Customer Service to see what could be done. Well, I can say that all the positive comments about the Customer Service team are valid! I was very pleased to find out that new 1036RX Color Display that is on back order until later this month has supposedly improved the Weather Ticker display to some extent, but I am VERY happy to say that I will be getting a 1036RX COLOR display shipped to me in exchange for the 1035 that I have now. I don't want to go into details other than to say that the Customer Service team has gone above my expectations. When the 1036RX displays are available, one will be shipped to me and I will return the 1035 display. HOPEFULLY the Weather Ticker will be easier to read, and I will have a color display at the very least.
I have only been a customer since 1/2/14, but I am being treated as if I have been doing business withe Acu-Rite for years! I would highly recommend these products for their low cost and capabilities, but the support given by the Customer Service team proves they're wiling to go the extra mile for their customers. They stand behind their products, and that is what makes them better than the competition.
Great job, Acu-Rite!
works great no problems
I've had the bridge for about a week. Works great no problems
I have had the bridge about a week. Finding the sweet spot was (is) a little hard but when it has signal it would great Easy to set up both the bridge and the account. Would recommend to anyone who wants access word wide to their weather.
I bought my bridge so I could join in on the PWS group on WX underground. I already had a display, I just wanted to send that data to the net. The bridge didnt work at the distances they advertised (300+ feet). My bridge is limited to 150' with a consistent 1 bar of coverage. Other than that everything else is a breeze.
Love my bridge but still haveing a problem with my android app
Adding on to my prior review, I love this product and App. I am now on Wunderground.com and have shared my sight and the app with friends who now are going to buy an Acurite weather station! What a great sales tool!
I purchased the wireless Internet Bridge and I am using it with a 5 in 1 sensor as well as 2 indoor temp sensors. It was easy to setup and works perfectly as I am always able to check the available information with my Iphone5 using the mobile app. I highly recommend purchasing it.
I received one of these for Christmas and just installed it yesterday. I love it so far, even the Android App. I can't wait to show it to my friends and family, showing them the actual weather in my back yard!
I had a little trouble getting it set up but once I figured out I needed to turn off my anti-virus first, it was simple and easy.
This was a Christmas present to add to my existing Acu-Rite weather station. Set up was easy and simple. I'm already hooked up to Weather Underground with it. Mine didn't need to go through the 30 minute download so set up was even quicker. I forgot that the 5 in 1 in the yard does not report barometric pressure that it comes from the base station, so I was a bit confused at first. The forecasting is a bit off with always forecasting rain but I think that will settle down during pressure learning period. Even if it doesn't you can manually calibrate it.
Now my only gripe. The lack of a printed manual or at least a provided link to one in addition to quick set up guide. I stumbled upon the user guide while searching through help. The user guide is quite extensive and guides you step by step for the Weather Underground set up (which the quick set up guide doesn't). Download the manual as it is quite extensive and useful.
Unit is working very well. Thank you for getting the problems fixed.
I ordered the internet bridge and two towers to be able to see temps at our lake house. System very easy to set up and so far has worked very well. This is a great system and it is very reasonably priced. I plan on adding the wind speed/ rainfall gauge accesory shortly. I am extremely pleased with the product and would have no problem reccomending it to anyone.
Purchased this product to monitor temperature during winter in a second home in Chautauqua, New York. I also purchased three towers - one I placed outside and two inside above remote thermostats that control separate heat pump units. I am able to monitor temperature and humidity (on an almost continuous basis) in two rooms and outside on my iPad, my iPhone and desk top computer. The bridge sends this information only over the internet.
The bridge also reports barometric pressure and has sends a warning when pressure drops indicating a storm. It also sends text and email if the temperature and/or humidity rises and/or drops above or below what metric I want. It also lets you know when the power goes off and when the battery needs replacement. Great product to let you know if you have a freeze problem. I also registered my outside tower with Weather Underground, so I can compare outside temps with other stations. So far after a few weeks, an outstanding product and highly recommend it.
Setting up the Acu-Link bridge was dead simple. I read the instructions and a few reviews before I started and then it took me only 10 minutes to have my sensors on-line and on my iPhone. It's only been a few days now but it has been working great and I like the ability to custom configure all the screens and widgets on them.
This is a great product and at a very good price. The simplicity of it finding your sensors makes set up a breeze and the status lights let you know what's happening.
I have had several weather stations in the past all promising but not delivering what I have already experienced with my new Acu Rite system. I was looking for something that would enable me to view weather info from my phone and this does that well. Fast and simple to set up it has many features that are over and above what I expected. I highly recommend this product, oh and when you call them, someone actually answers!
I'm real pleased with new link so easy ! I went to wunderground for my setup was easy i have cell phone to setup my backyard weather ! it works like it sould real happy with mine !
My weather link has been in service now for 24 hours, and I must say I am quite pleased with the results ! I have been a user of acu rite products for two years now and very pleased with the customer service and their product. I look forward to new products that may appear in the future, I certainly won't hesitate making a purchase from them in the future.
I have two of the 5-in-one weather stations and I just bought the bridge so I can publish weather data on the internet for my customers. Installation was simple, downloaded manual provided easy to follow steps and I have added my weather station to weatherunderground.com with no problems. These products are priced to be affordable and they provide valuable information.
I ordered this to monitor my home and shop. The set up was very easy and everything works great! I ordered additional sensors for inside and they set up easy as well. Customer support answered any questions I had before I ordered.
I love the bridge. I would give it a 10. I can see my weather on my desk top and have my display in a different room. Easy to set up and I like being able to share my weather. Great product.
Fun to get my weather station on the internet and publishing to the weather underground. Works as advertised, good product.
Bridge is much smaller than I thought and the pics look, it takes up very little space. Very easy to hook up and install, had it installed and working in less than 10 mins, had My Backyard Weather working in 15 mins and was on the web (weatherunderground.com) in 24 hrs( it takes their servers that long to add you). I love that now where ever I am I can check the weather right at my house plus I have family in NC, Calif and Ohio that check my weather too . If you're a weather nut there is no reason to not get one these to add on to your system..
We are using the AcuLink Internet Bridge with Remote Monitoring and the Tower Sensor for Temperature & Humidity to monitor the temperature in our server room. This past February we had a huge snow storm that started on Friday and didn't end until Sunday. It blocked the exit vent for the air conditioning unit in our server room, and subsequently, our server room overheated. When we came in Monday morning all of our servers were offline and the temperature in the room was ridiculous. We were lucky - everything came back online. But we are small IT team (2 members) and we needed to be able to not worry about our server room overheating again. For about $100 we got the Acu-link monitoring system and have been very pleased with it. We set notification alerts through the acu-link monitoring portal and have received text and emails from the system the few times our server room has reached warmer than normal temperatures. It's summertime now, so we don't have to worry too much about snow storms, but we get a lot of snow each year and it will be nice to not have to worry about our server room again.
I use a weather bridge at my cabin to keep track of the temp inside the cabin, outside the cabin and in the garage. It is reasurring in the winter time to know that the cabin and the garage are not going to freeze. If I lose access to the bridge then I also know that the power could be out so I pay close attention when it comes back on. It is also just fun to pull out my smart phone and tell all my Buddies what the temp at the cabin is at that moment.
Use the application through the app on my phone a couple of times a day. I helps me with useful data to open or close my greenhouse, how much rain water have we gotten to see if I need to irrigate. I have it send me warnings for wind and rain. I love the features it has. I am always showing it off how it works to friends.
I had this working in under an hour, even though it seems like it took a long time to startup and update, it was not long at all! I now have my weather station on Weather Underground thanks to this! Thank you for this product!
I'm over all very pleased with this product. The only issue I have is it doesn't have the receiving range that my inside display unit has. This has limited my options in placing the unit in my home. I have my outside sensor mounted around 150 feet from my house. It is in the wide open to get unobstructed readings. On the other hand, I really enjoy being able to link my weather station to Weather Underground. I am the first station in my area to do this. I really enjoy sharing my information with my community. I also am sharing my information with a local television station. This is very exciting for me. Had an issue with the first unit not staying connected to the Internet, but with the awesome Chaney support, sent me another one that works great. Just try to watch the distance where you mount your sensor.
Just got it on Saturday (took under a week to deliver) once it was done updating it never has flawed at all best weather link ever
When installing, I had some issues getting it up and running but after re-reading the instructions and doing it right the second time, It worked like a breeze. I have had some internet interruptions since installation and never has my bridge failed to come right back online. I love this product!
Great product! Great service! The product was delivered 3 days earlier than they advised it would be delivered, I was able to install both bridges and all four sensors in about 20-30 minutes/ i was able to set up the dashboard exactly as I had hoped. I can only say thank you very much to all involved, those who explained everything and sold it to me and those who I called to clarify one thing regarding the second bridge and the dashboard. They knew their stuff explained it clearly and I could not be more satisfied. I usually don't write reviews and rarely do I feel this satisfied. Thank you!!!
Had it running within an hour or so. Easy. Installed in a shop with lots of concrete walls and metal and signal strength is good. Using it to monitor humidity at several locations.
I puchased the Acu-Link Internet Bridge and the 5-in-1 sensor as separate products. Talking about easy!. I had the bridge, and 5-in-1 setup and operational in less than one hour. I'm amazed with the temperature sensor's accuracy in direct sunlight. VERY Impressive!. Have to admit I was skeptical about this feature. I am sharing my weather information with Underground Weather for two weeks now and have not had any issues. Planning on investing in another 5-in-1 sensor later in the year for backup purposes.
I purchased the bridge to go with my Acu-Rite 5 in 1 weather station.
After I setup my bridge, items to monitor I then went to http://www.wunderground.com/ and became a member weather station.
Wunderground provides a variety of phone apps and computer gadgets for you and you and the community to monitor your weather station.
Wunderground also reports the rain since midnight and not just during the current rain event which I really like. You have the ability to view the weather history by date, week, month, year or custom.
I highly recommend the Acu-Link. I have 2 Acurite weather stations, one at each of properties. At the beach house, I have the Acu-Link connected to the 5in1 and the 01500. At my home I have the 3in1 and the 00634. The 3in1 is nice, but I especially like the 5in1 connected to the Acu-Link. Not only can I see all my data and tables on the MyBackYard, but also I can share it on Weather Underground.
I shopped quite a bit for weather stations. Feature for feature, I found the Acu-Rite weather stations to provide the greatest value. One of my friends got La Crosse weather station this winter from Costco. He has compared his data with the data from my 5in1, 01500 and Acu-Link. It is clear that the data published by Acu-Link from the 5in1 is more accurate than his data by LaCrosse. My friends with the La Crosse have deal with multiple sensors (wind, rain, and temperature) with multiple sets of batteries, but my 5in1 is far more convenient and easier to maintain.
The Acu-Link is especially convenient because I do not have to keep the computer running to publish the data. The data is readily available both online and locally on the 01500, although the online data is far more convenient to view. I can choose what to data to make public with the Acu-Link. I keep private data from a sensor inside the house private, and make public weather data from the outside.
Been waiting for this to be back in stock and was worth the wait. No more USB connection failure notices. Great result!
I work in Mississippi but my wife lives on our sailboat (S/V Enough) in Tampa Bay. With temp/hum sensors in the cockpit, salon and Engineroom I can directly keep and eye on things aboard and infer others from the graphs. Additionally there is a dog aboard during the day and air conditioners do fail. On a sailboat an A/C failure would result in the dog perishing in summer heat. The salon sensor provides warning in this instance for my wife to return aboard from work before there is a tragedy.

Works much better if the sensors are close to the b ridge
For some reason the unit did not want to talk with the router, but managed to get it talking with another router and works great that way. An extra step but understandable due to some equipment makers. Once communication it works great with mt 5-in-1 sensor and a tower sensor to help keep an eye on indoor temps while away. Could even put a tower sensor in the well house to keep an eye on it remotely. Does not interfere with the monitor that came with the 5-in-1 sensor.
I purchased two of these. One for me and one for a buddy. Installation was simple and flawless. I rarely look at my display any longer. It is nice to be able to check things from anywhere. I was frustrated that I had to wait so long for it to be available, but it was worth the wait. They must have done extensive testing to bring out a product that is easy to install and utilize.
Works great! Also love the the phone app to monitor the weather.
After I read the instructions closely, the Acu-link works great. We just had a 4+ inch rain here within the last couple of days. I was working 30 miles from the house and it was great to watch the rain fall amount accumulate on my iPhone. I have some sort of wireless weather systems for the last 10 years. The Acu-link and along with the Professional Weather Center (01515) is by far the best setup/weather information system I have had (also the least expensive).
Love the Bridge, the unit has worked flawlessly since I connected it. I have my weather station on Weather UnderGround now.
Got this unit as soon as it came out. Not sure the date but back in the fall. Has work great so far. I also use the app to check it on my phone. And have also loaded it up on weather underground. 5 stars so far.
This was a gift for my wife. It was easy to set up and we can now see what is going on weather wise at OUR house. Wish I would have got this for her earlier.
Had to wait for product to be available again, but so far it has performed flawlessly. It is great to be able to see what is going on anywhere or anytime. Good job Acurite.
Great product if you want to access the weather conditions at your home. Really nice that you can link to Weather Underground.
Very easy set up and worked right away. Obviously, AcuRite did their homework.
WOW what a difference it makes being able to be down at the bus stop, or outside and pull out my phone and see what my weather station has! Plus I never realized how much I would enjoy sharing the information with Wunderground. Was easy to install, instructions were great. No issues.
The answer to my remote monitoring of my greenhouse! Easy set up and now can monitor anytime, anywhere on my smartphone.
Great product, easy setup, no flaws found so far. Only issue i have is refres on webpage not automagic enough and on app otherwise PERFECT as im sure there will be updates in the near future!
Very easy setup as long as people READ and follow the instructions. Works great thus far also installed the Android app and that is a cool gadget as well. Very happy w/all AcuRite products thus far and I have two 5 in 1 sensor units and now this internet bridge. After driving this for a bit I'll order the bridge for my dad's 5 in 1 sensor.
Waited patiently for this remarkable bridge to be available to "add to cart" .It was on my wishlist for quite some time, it arrived today and took about 5 minutes, now I can unplug my 1025 from the usb port on my laptop and move it to a more suitable location, I would highly recommend this unit and any Acu-Rite products
Had to wait for general availability. Wait worth the time. Product works great both on my PC and my Android phone. As always the Acurite team is great to do business with. They are responsive to any issues that might arise.
I have had a great experience with the Acu-Rite team, and the wait for this product was definetly worth it! Super easy to set up, with very easy instructions. Thank you for the best products!
Acu-right! This product is great. Set up is a breeze, plug it in and it auto updates the firmware, and locates your 5-1 or other sensors. Easy online registration too. The whole process took about 10 minutes. The user interface is very nice, lots of options and the widgets are attractive.
- easy set up
- attractive unit and interface
- multiple sensor capable
- very good value for function
- the blue status indication LEDs are a bit bright (this isn't for a bedroom!)
Overall I highly recommend this product!
I ordered this as soon as it became available. Setup took five minutes - no problems at all! I went online and registered the MAC address, downloaded the app to my iPad, launched the app, and instantly picked up the information coming from my 01515 digital weather station.
If you have an Acu-Rite compatible device, you will want this bridge!
Been running this product for 6 months ... easy to follow set up instructions ... If you have a brodband connection and router, this product cant be beat ... constant upload to MBY website, which intern uploads to Wunderground ... GREAT product
Once mine got it's firmware update, it was fine. It has worked flawlessly for several months now.
The Internet Bridge was easy to set up as was the "Backyard Weather" PC application, just followed the instructions. I also set up Wunderground to receive and display the weather data from my station. Time will tell...
One nice feature - you don't need to leave your PC on to get weather data on to the Internet.
