Bought this online from Kmart . Installed batteries and hung on wall. Clock found the atomic radio signal overnight and has worked flawlessly ever since. I highly recommend this accurate and easy to read clock.
Thanks for a great product.
I have one. Only works sitting on the sill of a north facing window, and not the full sill, only certain parts of the sill. Also, further within the room it stops updating all together. I'm on the Texas Gulf Coast and may be too far from Colorado Springs, CO.for best reception of the WWV signal. Each night before bed, I move the clock from the desk to the window sill too maintain accuracy.
I wish it showed seconds. I need that degree of accuracy for my work at home job.
Just bought this for my sons birthday and he thinks its the coolest thing that it tells temperature, time, date, and day! Now when his tv shows come on he knows what time to catch them at. It really is a nice clock good material. Not just a plastic piece for junk!
I bought this clock about 3 weeks ago. No problems at all. I like it. Would recomend it. I'm normally critical, but this is a good purchase.
I bought 3 of these Timex Atomic Wall Clocks on June 29, 2011 at a K-mart store near me and hung these clocks on a West facing wall, a North facing wall, and an East facing wall and all of the clocks were able to receive the time signal without any problem here in Charleston, Illinois.
I can read the time from across each room without any problems. I also like that these clocks have a built-in stand so the clock will stand up if you want to set the clock on a surface instead of hanging it from a wall hook.
