AcuRite Air™ Indoor Air Quality Monitor

We are excited to launch AcuRite's first Indoor Air Quality Sensor! This indoor air quality monitor measures indoor dust, pollutants, and other fine particles small enough to enter the respiratory system that could potentially harm your health – by directly measuring Particulate Matter size 2.5 µg/m3 or smaller (simply called PM2.5). Cooking, cleaning, arts and crafts, and home projects all emit gasses and particles that reduce your home's indoor air quality. And now more than ever, we’re spending the majority of our time inside our homes, so let’s do our best to keep our families safe and healthy!

How to Improve Air Quality in Your Home

With your very own indoor air quality sensor, you can keep track of safe environmental conditions while doing your normal home activities. The easy-to-read scale adjusts in real time based on your indoor pollutants to show at-a-glance safe (green) to hazardous (dark purple) conditions so you can take the necessary actions.

If the scale on the air quality monitor display starts climbing from green (safe) to orange or red (dangerous), simply open a window or turn on a fan or air purifier. Or, if you’re in smoky California like me, you’ll want to keep those doors and windows closed and purchase a large room air purifier with washable/reusable filters (I bought the Winix True HEPA, and it seems to help).

Share and Discuss Your Indoor Air Quality Concerns:

What are your indoor air quality concerns? I know I'm especially concerned with the wildfire smoke getting into the house during California's historic fire season. We can do everything it takes to stay indoors, but how much safer are we inside the house if the smoke eventually gets in? I’m excited to keep an eye on my home indoor air quality with this new air quality sensor from AcuRite.
