  1. Sensor review by Georgette on 10/29/2017

We have had our temperature/humidity indoor and outdoor Acu-Rite for a few years now. Had LaCrosse prior. PAid about $30 for this one at Wal-Mart. All we have ever done is replace batteries. Just had a battery go bad and crust up the battery compartment of the sensor unit. Cleaning unit and putting new batteries in didn't work. Kept giving high temp and 1% humidity outdoors. Went online to order a new sensor or entire new system. Found info about changing the channels inside the unit. Went from A to C channels and it began to work again!! Great work with the reviews and info there!! Will use
Acu-Rite again if and when this one goes out completely!

  2. Replacing outside sensor. review by Ronald on 4/18/2017

Had my weather station for 5 years, the outside sensor with out and I replace it with a new sensor. It's working great.

  3. Excellent review by Henry on 11/11/2016

I have had two Acu-rite temperature and humidity sensors for a number of years. (Front and back of house. There is a difference.)
I noticed that the information on one of the displays was getting unreliable. Changing batteries didn't help so I ordered a replacement sensor. It was received in good condition and in a timely fashion. My information is again accurate (Acu-rite) and I remain a big fan of this product and this company. Thanks.

  4. Replacement remote sensor review by Bill on 10/28/2016

Working as well as the one it replace - left at a campground we summered at. Quick service & a reasonable price...I have no complaints & will continue to buy Accurite products without hesitation

  5. remote sensor review by Paul on 8/22/2016

So far it is working good. Very accurate.

  6. Great sensor review by Paul on 7/23/2016

Initially the humidity was off. Customer service contacted me from my review and we went through trouble shooting. Removing the batteries and changing channel fixed the issue and now it works perfect. Will definitely buy from this company again. Great customer service!

  7. Good replacement part at fair price review by James on 3/8/2016

Cost for this replacement part made it worth the purchase, vice buying a new system all together. Connects and provides Outdoor Temp & Humidity as expected.

  8. Website misleading review by dcg on 2/26/2016

Needed replacement sensor. Found product number. Web site offered a replacement sensor for savings of $3 compared to sensor to sensor needed. But no mention that the replacement sensor would be incompatible. So ordered the 'replacement' sensor and it didn't replace the needed sensor. For $12 will now keep existing sensor that is inaccurate for cold temperatures. Conclusion: Part numbers and web site are difficult to understand unless you are an expert with Acurite products.

  9. Can't Beat It ! review by Art on 3/3/2015

Was just about to buy a new indoor/outdoor Temp/Hum because I hadn't paid close attention to the admonishment to keep the outdoor sensor out of the rain when I decided to check to see if a replacement was available. I'm so glad I check - saved a bunch and it arrived quickly. With mine, I had to remove the batteries from the indoor unit to reset both - there may be a different or better way, but removing and replacing the batteries reset the unit. Now the sensor is in a sheltered place - working like a charm. Just check to make certain it is the correct sensor for your model.

  10. Worked great review by Firedog359 on 7/30/2014

I recieved the replacement sensor, put batteries in and after removing and replacing the batteries in the master unit to reset it,everything connected up and worked exactly like it was supposed to.

  11. Replaceable review by Nene on 10/25/2013

Love that this piece is replaceable as the inside unit is still working great. My husband was pressure cleaning and didn't the the light "mist" from the sprayer would damage the sensor...Ha! Wrong again but easily and quickly remedied with this replacement. Even with smart phones, we just really both like to be able to see what the temp and humidity is HERE, at our house.

  12. worked first try review by Dominic on 8/26/2013

works great . i just had to take batteries out of main component to reset.

  13. Remote sensor works well review by SouthGent on 3/29/2013

I received the replacement sensor for my model #00611 Temperature Weather Station unit. I'd left my original sensor out in a greenhouse on which the plastic had finally fallen apart. Direct exposure to the elements for an extended length of time appeared to have ruined the remote sensor. The new sensor worked correctly, immediately (once I checked the channel settings on both units).
