Sneak Peek Part 1! New Weather Station Displays for Fall 2022

AcuRite Atlas® fans rejoice! For the first time ever, two new color options will be available for the AcuRite Atlas Weather Station display: Gray and White! These unique color options still provide the same high-definition quality that the black HD display is known for and remain jam-packed with weather information. Keep track of indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity, wind speed and direction, barometric pressure, rainfall, UV index, and light intensity — all on one easy-to-read display. Plus, patented self-calibrating technology generates a personalized forecast for your exact location.

These non-Wi-Fi displays will be available on their own or bundled with an AcuRite Atlas outdoor sensor with or without a lightning detection option. We are happy that AcuRite Atlas users will now be able to utilize a display that can better match their home décor!

Say Hello to the Completely Wireless AcuRite Iris Weather Station!

Yep, that’s right! Again, for the first time ever, we will be offering a battery-powered, mini display for the AcuRite Iris® Weather Station. It still provides you with the essential weather information you know and love — indoor and outdoor temperature, outdoor humidity, wind speed and direction, rainfall measurements, and barometric pressure — but with complete on-the-go capability. You’ll be able to get hyperlocal weather data from wherever your in-range AcuRite Iris outdoor sensor is mounted — no electricity required! This new display makes for the perfect storm-chasing tool or camping companion; you’ll always know your current weather conditions even if you’re tracking a twister or you're off the grid!

This non-Wi-Fi display will be available on its own or bundled with an AcuRite Iris outdoor sensor. Enjoy the freedom of wireless weather tracking!

The new Atlas display units are only compatible with the Atlas Weather Station outdoor sensor.

Will the new Atlas displays still have a micro USB connection for power? I have my current display connected to a USB port on my alarm system panel and it’s a perfect location. Since the panel is white the white display would look great there.

There has been quite an evolution of the weather station market and a shift in customer needs since we first presented the Atlas Elite concept to our customers. As such, we have decided not to move forward with the Elite product, and have instead focused our resources on upgrading our current AcuRite Atlas solution with increased accuracy, additional sensors, enhanced features, and now even the direct-to-Wi-Fi display! The AcuRite Product Development Team continues to evaluate new product offerings and we will keep you updated as new products become available. How about a slightly bigger display? The Atlas works great but the info on the bottom half of the display is so small you can't see it unless you are standing right in front of it. It would be nice to be able to read all of the information across the room

Two years ago I hid my sensor out of sight in shade for winter and summer so I wouldnt have to move it with the seasons. I hid the sensor to my weather station and now dont recall where I placed it. It is no further than 75 ft in any direction. I have the 00503w model number and sku is the same. It didnt show available today. I did buy it 3 or 4 years ago . I found one that looks like it when viewing their new products. Its model number is 00512sb. I was thinking if I coud find something that would block the transmitter from the base display,then I woud be fairly close to its location. Ill have someone watch the display whil I walk around the place shielding near potential hiding spots. When I block transmission to the stations display,i I should be able to locate it. Thx for the help
